The present invention relates to a plating method and apparatus, and in particular, for uniform surface plating, an insulating plate is installed in a plating solution of a plating bath or an electrolytic bath, and a spray nozzle having a spray path formed at a predetermined angle is installed on the bottom surface of the plating bath for plating. To a method and an apparatus.
In general, plating refers to electroplating, and includes dehydration, polishing, degreasing, chemical dipping, electroplating, post-treatment, and drying. Known plating methods include electroplating, molten metal dip plating, thermal spraying plating, vapor deposition plating, and the like. In the electroplating, a metal surface to be plated is placed in an electrolyte solution containing ions of a metal to be electrodeposited by using a metal to be plated as a cathode and a metal to be electrodeposited as an anode. Refers to a method of allowing electrolytic precipitation to As described above, the metal plating using the property of electrodeposition to the metal surface in the aqueous solution containing metal ions is a problem of the smoothness of the surface, the color and gloss, the path, the integrity of the coating. In addition, the more uniform the thickness of the coating and the thinner it is within the required range, the more advantageous the formation of a thin plating surface with uniformity becomes an important problem in the plating apparatus.
Prior art for solving the above and problems with electroplating is Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2001-0107788 "electroplating method using a combination of the vibration flow of the plating bath and the plating current of the pulse phase". In the present invention, a surface plating article disposed in contact with a plating bath is used as a cathode, and a metal member disposed in contact with the plating bath is used as an anode, and a voltage is applied between the cathode and the anode. The present invention is characterized by vibrating a vibrating target fixed in one or more stages to a vibrating rod vibrating in the plating bath in conjunction with a vibration generating means and allowing pulses having different periods to alternately pass so that the plating current is in a pulsed state. Is to make it work. In addition, using a vibration motor having a constant frequency as a device for the vibration device, the vibration of the vibration motor to be transmitted to the vibration blades. The preceding invention having the above characteristics improves the uniformity of the plating film thickness and has the advantage of being able to plate at a high speed. However, on the other hand, by using a device such as a motor, the electrolytic bath itself may generate noise due to vibration, and the vibrating blade rotates inside the electrolytic bath, and still cannot form a plated film with higher uniformity. Have In addition, there is a problem that the electrolytic device is complicated, it may be difficult to apply when the electrolytic bath is large.
The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the conventional electroplating method and apparatus and the problems of the invention of 0107788. Therefore, the present invention has the following object.
It is a first object of the present invention to provide a plating method and apparatus for maintaining a constant current density regardless of the shape of a workpiece to be plated. In general, charges are distributed non-uniformly depending on the shape of the object, and this non-uniformity of the charge density interferes with the growth rate of the plating nuclei, which in turn affects the plating rate. According to a feature of the present invention, by providing an insulating plate in which holes of a certain shape are uniformly distributed in the plating solution of the plating bath or the electrolytic bath, the current density is kept uniform so that the plating speed is improved.
A second object of the present invention is to provide a plating method and apparatus in which the concentration of the plating liquid is kept constant in the plating process. In general, as the plating process proceeds, the concentration of the plating liquid around the treated material to be plated and the concentration in other parts of the electrolytic cell are different from each other. That is, as the metal ions are electrodeposited on the plating treatment, the concentration of the metal ions is lowered in proportion to the distance of the treatment. According to the present invention, by installing a spray nozzle including a spray passage having a predetermined spray angle on the bottom surface of the plating bath to maintain a constant metal ion concentration in the plating bath. Maintaining the above metal ion concentration in the plating process improves the uniformity of the plating film.
A third object of the present invention is to provide a plating method and apparatus capable of uniform and fine plating as the electrolytic solution vibrates due to the injection of a pulse. In the plating method and apparatus according to the present invention, a vibration is injected into a solution in an electrolytic cell using a transformer. The injection of pulses using the transformer enables more stable vibration of the electrolytic solution.
Plating method and plating apparatus according to the present invention for achieving the above object is described below.
According to the present invention, an electrolytic cell comprising a plating treatment to be plated and a metal ion solution, at least one insulating plate formed uniformly in the entire surface of the electrolytic cell, and having a hole formed therein, the bottom surface of the electrolytic cell An electroplating apparatus is provided, comprising a plurality of spray nozzles installed in the apparatus, wherein a metal ion solution and air are supplied through the plurality of spray nozzles. In addition, according to the present invention includes the step of installing an insulating plate in which a plurality of holes evenly distributed on the surface in the plating solution of the electrolytic cell, using the spray nozzle provided on the bottom surface of the electrolytic cell to the plating solution and air, In the spray nozzle is provided with an injection hole for forming a vortex in the electrolytic cell, the supply of the plating solution and air is provided through the injection hole while the supply of air is provided intermittently is provided .
Hereinafter, the plating method and the plating apparatus according to the present invention as described above will be described in detail using the embodiments presented with reference to the accompanying drawings. Known devices or self-explanatory devices or related matters are briefly described or omitted in the description of the presented embodiments, but they are not meant to be excluded from the scope of the present invention.
1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a plating apparatus according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the plating apparatus 1 according to the present invention includes at least one insulating plate or
An injection nozzle 14 is installed on the bottom surface of the
A side view of the plating apparatus 1 according to the invention described above is shown in FIG. 2. 2, two insulating
The plating method and apparatus according to the present invention including the devices described above are characterized by the installation and structure of the insulating
3A to 3C illustrate various embodiments of the insulating plate according to the present invention, and FIG. 3D illustrates a cross-sectional view of the insulating plate.
As shown, FIG. 3A illustrates an embodiment of an insulating plate in the form of a square 3a, FIG. 3B a rectangle 3b, and FIG. 3C a
As shown in Fig. 3D, the thickness of each insulating plate is appropriately 8 to 12 mm. The shape according to the depth of the
4A to 4D illustrate a plan view of embodiments of the spray nozzle according to the present invention, and FIG. 4E illustrates a form in which plating solution and air are sprayed from the spray nozzle, and FIG. 4F is a cross-sectional view of the spray nozzle. It is shown. 4A shows the case where the
5a and 5b show an embodiment of the
As shown in FIG. 5B, the
Figure 6a shows another embodiment of a plating apparatus according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 6A,
6B shows a detailed view of the
As shown in FIG. 6B, the
The plating apparatus and method according to the present invention has been described above using an embodiment. The presented embodiments are exemplary, and one of ordinary skill in the art may make various changes and modifications without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention by using the presented embodiments. It is to be understood that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the modified and modified inventions, but the scope of the present invention is limited by the claims appended below.
The present invention not only ensures uniform plating by maintaining a constant charge density on the surface of the plating product by installing an insulating plate in the electrolytic cell, but also installs a spray nozzle on the bottom of the electrolytic cell to replenish the plating solution and simultaneously release air. Vortex is generated in the electrolytic cell during injection so that the metal ion concentration is uniformly distributed in all parts of the electrolytic cell. The uniformity of metal ions in the electrolytic cell as described above enables high speed plating. In addition, the cathode vibrator for injecting pulses in the electrolytic cell has the effect of providing a plating apparatus and method for improving durability by using a transformer to achieve uniform and fine plating while generating noise.
