Claims (35)
- 출력데이터를 전송하기 위한 전원공급제어기;상기 전원공급제어기에 연결된 데이터버스; 및상기 데이터버스에 연결된 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터;로 구성되며 상기 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터는,상기 출력데이터를 저장하기 위한 저장장치,출력을 발생하기 위한 출력빌더(BUILDER), 및상기 출력데이터에 따라 상기 출력의 타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 제어유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 출력데이터는 대응 POL 레귤레이터에 턴온(TURN-ON)명령을 제공하는 턴온(TURN-ON) 데이터, 대응 POL 레귤레이터에 목표 출력전압을 제공하는 전압세트포인트데이터, 대응 POL 레귤레이터에 출력전압의 변화비를 제공하는 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)데이터, 대응 POL 레귤레이터에 턴오프(TURN-OFF)명령을 제공하는 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA) 및 턴온(TURN-ON) 또는 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 명령 및 출력에 대응하는 실제 동작 사이에 지연주기를 제공하는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어유닛은 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA), 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA) 및 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA) 및 전압세트포인트데이터에 따르는 목표 출력값을 발생하는 턴온(TURN-ON) 주기를 결정하는 하도록 부가적으로 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어유닛은 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA), 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA), 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA) 및 전압세트포인트데이터에 따르는 선택된 출력을 한정하는 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 결정하도록 부가적으로 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 턴온데이터(TURN-ON) 주기는 전원공급제어기에 의해 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA) 내에 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 턴온데이터(TURN-ON) 주기는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA), 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA) 및 전압세트포인트데이터에 의해 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 저장장치는 레지스터를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 데이터버스는 양방향 시리얼버스를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전원제어시스템.
- 제어기로부터 출력타이밍을 수신하는 단계;POL(POINT-OF-LOAD) 저장장치 내에 출력타이밍을 저장하는 단계;상기 출력의 타이밍 파라미터를 결정하는 출력타이밍데이터를 이용하는 단계; 및POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력을 발생하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 출력타이밍을 수신하는 단계는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 수신하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 출력타이밍데이터를 이용하는 단계는 상기 출력이 발생될 때 결정되는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 이용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 출력타이밍을 수신하는 단계는 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 수신하는 단계를 부가하여 포함하고, 상기 출력타이밍데이터를 이용하는 단계는 상기 출력의 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)를 결정하기 위해 상기 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 이용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 출력타이밍을 수신하는 단계는 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 수신하는 단계를 부가하여 포함하고, 상기 출력타이밍데이터를 이용하는 단계는 상기 출력이 턴오프(TURN-OFF)되었을 때 대응하는 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 지연주기를 계산하기 위해 상기 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 이용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 출력타이밍데이터를 수신하는 단계는 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA)를 수신하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하고 상기 출력타이밍데이터를 이용하는 단계는 상기 출력이 발생될 때 대응하는 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 지연주기를 계산하기 위해 상기 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 이용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 제어기로부터 인에이블데이터(ENABLE DATA)를 수신하는 것을 부가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 출력타이밍데이터를 수신하는 단계는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 수신하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하고, 상기 출력타이임데이터를 이용하는 단계는 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA) 및 상기 출력이 발생될 때 결정되는 인에이블데이터(ENABLE DATA)를 이용하는 단계를 부가하여 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제어기로부터 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 수신하는 단계;POL 저장장치 내에 상기 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 저장하는 단계;상기 제어기로부터 인에이블데이터(ENABLE DATA)를 수신하는 단계; 및상기 POL 레귤레이터 출력의 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)를 결정하기 위해 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 이용하는 단계;를부가하여 포함하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서,제어기로부터 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 수신하는 단계;POL 저장장치 내에 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 저장하는 단계; 및상기 출력이 생산될 때 결정되는 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 이용하는 단계;를포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서,상기 출력이 제공될 때 결정되는 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 이용하는 단계는 상기 출력이 생산되기 전에 인에이블데이터(ENABLE DATA)가 수시된 후 기다림 시간주기를 부가하여 포함하며, 상기 시간주기는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)에 의해 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서,상기 제어기로부터 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA)를 수신하는 단계;POL 저장장치 내에 상기 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA)를 저장하는 단계; 및상기 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA)와 출력이 생산될 때 대응하는 턴온(TURN-ON) 지연주기를 계산하기 위한 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)를 이용하는 단계;를부가하여 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서,상기 제어기로부터 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 수신하는 단계;POL 저장장치 내에 상기 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 저장하는 단계; 및상기 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA) 및 상기 출력이 한정될 때 대응하는 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 지연주기를 계산하기 위한 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)를 이용하는 단계;를 부가하여 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터의 출력타이밍 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법.
- 시리얼 데이터버스 인터페이스;상기 시리얼 데이터버스 인터페이스에 의해 외부적으로 수신되는 출력데이터를 저장하기 위해 구비되는 저장장치;상기 출력데이터에 근거하는 타이밍파라미터를 계산하기 위해 구비되는 제어유닛; 및타이밍파라미터에 따라 출력전압을 발생하기 위해 구비되는 출력빌더(BUILDER); 를포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
- 제21항에 있어서,상기 출력데이터는 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)를 부가하여 포함하고 상기 제어유닛은 상기 출력전압이 발생될 때 시간을 계산하기 위해 구비되며 상기 시간은 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA)에 따라 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
- 제21항에 있어서,상기 출력데이터는 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)를 부가하여 포함하고 상기 제어유닛은 상기 출력전압을 위한 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)를 결정하기 위해 구비되며 상기 슬루레이트(SLEW-RATE)는 상기 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA)에 따라 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
- 제21항에 있어서,상기 출력데이터는 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)를 포함하고 상기 제어유닛은, 상기 제어유닛이 상기 출력을 한정하기 전의 기다림지간이 되는 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 주기를 계산하기 위해 구비되며, 상기 턴오프데이터(TURN-OFF DATA)는 상기 턴오프(TURN-OFF) 주기을 계산하기 위해 이용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.

- 제26항에 있어서,상기 제어유닛은 상기 턴온데이터(TURN-ON DATA), 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA), 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA) 및 전압세트포인트데이터에 따라 목표하는 출력값을 발생하는 턴온(TURN-ON) 주기를 결정하도록 부가하여 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
- 제27항에 있어서,상기 턴온(TURN-ON) 주기는 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA) 내에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
- 제27항에 있어서,상기 턴온(TURN-ON) 주기는 상기 시퀀스데이터(SEQUENCE DATA), 슬루레이트데이터(SLEW-RATE DATA) 및 전압세트포인트데이터에 의해 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 POL(POINT-OF-LOAD)레귤레이터.
