Abstract
Description
구체적으로, 상기 광모듈과 백업 광모듈을 서로 다른 파장을 사용하고, 상기 광신호 절체모듈은 상기 광모듈의 에러 발생시 광모듈의 출력 광신호가 오프되며, 상기 백업 광모듈의 출력 광신호가 온되어 상기 광신호 분배모듈로 상기 백업 광모듈의 출력 광신호가 제공되는 파장분할 다중화 방식(WDM)의 광전송 시스템인 것을 특징으로 하고, 상기 광신호 절체모듈은, 상기 광신호 분배모듈과 일체형으로 구성된 광 2×N 커플러인 것을 특징으로 한다.
Claims (5)
- 광모듈과 백업 광모듈 및 광신호 분배모듈로 이루어져 상기 광모듈에 이상발생시 광모듈의 기능을 백업 광모듈이 대행하여 시스템이 중단하지 않도록 하는 수동 광 네트워크(Passive Optical Network)에 있어서:상기 광모듈 또는 백업 광모듈 중 어느 하나의 광신호를 입력받아 상기 광신호 분배모듈로 전송하는 광신호 절체모듈을 포함하되,상기 광신호 절체모듈은,상기 광모듈로부터 제공되는 광신호를 상기 광신호 분배모듈로 제공하기 위한 제 1 광커플러;상기 백업 광모듈로부터 제공되는 광신호를 상기 광신호 분배모듈로 제공하기 위한 제 2 광커플러;상기 광모듈로부터 입사되는 광신호의 일부를 분기시키기 위한 광커플러;상기 광커플러로부터 검출되는 광신호의 레벨을 판단하며, 판단결과에 대응하는 제어신호를 생성하기 위한 광검출기; 및상기 광검출기의 제어신호에 기초하여 상기 광모듈 또는 백업 광모듈의 발광부를 인에이블시키기 위한 제어기;를 포함하며, 상기 광신호 절체모듈은 광신호 분배모듈과 일체형으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수동 광 네트워크의 광 모듈 보호구조.
