Claims (2)
- 입력 신호 수신 이후에 발생하는 노이즈를 감소시키기 위한 케이블 모뎀의 다운스트림 노이즈 저감 방법에 있어서,미리 설정된 초기 TOP(Take Over Point) 상에서 SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio)를 확인하는 과정과,입력 신호의 세기에 관계없이 상기 초기 TOP를 미리 설정된 레벨만큼 증가 또는 감소시키면서 증가 또는 감소한 TOP상에서 SNR을 확인하는 과정과,상기 각각의 TOP 상에서 확인한 SNR을 비교하여 가장 큰 SNR에 해당하는 TOP를 최적의 TOP로 설정하는 과정을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 노이즈 저감 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초기 TOP를 증가 또는 감소시키는 레벨은 1dB임을 특징으로 하는 노이즈 저감 방법.
