Description

Synthetic bentonite waterproof manufacturing method}Synthetic bentonite waterproof manufacturing method

The present invention relates to a method for producing a synthetic bentonite waterproofing material used for waterproofing buildings and structures, and more specifically, cracking phenomenon due to dry shrinkage even if the external environment changes in a dry state after gelation and expansion of bentonite particles by moisture. It relates to a method for producing a synthetic bentonite waterproof material to prevent the.

In general, bentonite is a type of natural clay that expands to 10 to 20 times its volume when in contact with water and becomes dry and shrinks to its original volume when water is not present. It is used as waterproofing material for underground construction work.

The bentonite is largely divided into sodium-based bentonite and calcium-based bentonite, which is classified according to whether the exchangeable ions present on the surface of the bentonite particle are sodium (Na) or calcium (Ca). In addition to such sodium-based or calcium-based bentonite, other bentonites also exist due to exchangeable ions adsorbed on the particle surface of bentonite.

In general, bentonite, which is used in the conventional bentonite waterproofing, is generally used as sodium-based bentonite having the best swelling property in contact with moisture.

As the waterproofing material using bentonite, a sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material is known in which an aqueous adhesive is added on a polyvinyl or polyester coating sheet and bentonite particles are coated on the aqueous adhesive and dried.

The conventional sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material can be fixed to the earthen wall or the outer wall of the underground structure with nails and washers at the time of the foundation construction of the underground structure, so that the construction is simple and easy to repair the defect in the event of a fault. In addition, the underground structures are always used for waterproofing underground structures since the waterproofing material hardly occurs in a dry shrinkage state in contact with moisture at all times.

However, when the sheet-like bentonite waterproofing material is applied to the roof structure of the ground structure or the outer wall of the ground structure, the bentonite particles are reduced to their original volume when the external environment is dried again after the gelation hoe is contacted with moisture. Rather than shrinking uniformly with each other, for example, the clays in the paddy are unevenly agglomerated with each other, resulting in cracking such as cracking of the bottom of the paddy field.

Therefore, the conventional sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material has a problem that a certain amount of water leaks before the bentonite particles are completely gelled and expanded by water when exposed to moisture such as rain water due to the gap of the waterproofing material generated by shrinkage under a dry state. Because it has a rainy season and dry season there is a problem that is hardly used for the waterproofing of the ground structure is repeated.

In the conventional sheet-like bentonite waterproofing material, the function of the sheet has a function of facilitating the construction process, such as binding to the structure of the bentonite waterproofing material and convenient transportation of the waterproofing material, but generally time after construction and construction As the seat is damaged, it is not directly waterproof.

On the other hand, in the conventional sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material, even if the sheet is perfectly maintained during construction and is not damaged even after a period of time, when used in a ground structure such as the roof of a building, a certain portion of the sheet-shaped bentonite waterproofing material on the building structure It can be constructed by applying a layer of concrete on top of the overlapping layer. In this case, when the sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material is contacted with moisture again at the overlapping part of the waterproofing material in the dry shrinkage state after gelation and expansion, water is transferred between the sheet surface and bentonite particles. There was a problem of infiltration between the breaks.

In view of the above, the present invention is to find a component that does not gel expansion of bentonite particles even when reacted with the bentonite particles to develop a synthetic bentonite rather than natural bentonite to produce a waterproofing material.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to prevent the loss of bentonite particles and to prevent the breakage of the waterproofing material formed by agglomeration of bentonite particles even when the external environment is transferred from a wet state to a dry state, to prevent rainwater under dry shrinkage. Even if the waterproofing material is exposed to the same moisture, the bentonite particles are prevented from leaking between the gaps during the expansion of the water, thereby providing a synthetic bentonite composition having excellent waterproofing function not only for underground structures but also for ground structures, and a method of manufacturing the same. It is.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a synthetic bentonite waterproofing material and a method of manufacturing the same, which is more waterproof and prevents cracking even when the external environment is changed, and can be applied to a ground structure.

According to the test results, the generation of cracks in the dry shrinkage state, which can be seen as useful as a waterproofing material to the ground structure, the average of about 80 sheet-type bentonite waterproofing material occurred. In contrast, the synthetic bentonite waterproofing materials (Examples 2 to 5) of the present invention hardly generated cracks even when they were in a dry shrinkage state after gelation expansion.

As apparent from the above test results, the synthetic bentonite waterproofing material of the present invention is almost completely prevented from cracking of the waterproofing material even in the dry shrinkage state after gelation expansion, so that the grounding process is repeated not only in the underground structure but also in the gelation expansion and dry shrinkage process. It is possible to show the effect of perfect waterproofing even in the structure. In addition, synthetic bentonite can be used to prevent the environmental pollution by using gamma oil (ship, vehicle engine oil) in the mixed material, in particular waste engine oil.

On the other hand, natural sodium bentonite must have a water at all times to be water-proof, but the synthetic bentonite according to the present invention can obtain an excellent waterproof effect even if it does not contain water. In addition, natural sodium bentonite is significantly lower in the water-proof effect in the brine of the material, the synthetic bentonite according to the present invention does not deteriorate the water-proofing performance in the brine and no waterproofing effect in 4% of the brine. In addition, natural sodium bentonite (bentonite sheet, bentonite mat) is not waterproof on the roof of the building, but sheets and mats made of synthetic bentonite are suitable for use in buildings, especially on the roof. As a result, synthetic bentonite is excellent in adhesiveness after manufacture, and the dry side is basic, and even if there is moisture or foreign matter (oil), the adhesiveness is not lowered, which is optimal for waterproofing and economical.
