Claims (6)
- 열광학 가변 광감쇄기에 있어서,단일모드 채널광도파로;상기 채널광도파로에 접속되며 두 개의 대칭형 Y-분기로 구성된 마하-젠더 간섭계 광도파로; 및상기 마하-젠더 간섭계 광도파로 상부에 대칭적으로 위치하여 상기 각 대칭형 Y-분기의 일측에 열을 인가하는 두 개의 금속열선을 포함하여 이루어지며,상기 금속열선에 인가된 전력에 의해 상기 각 대칭형 Y-분기의 굴절율을 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 대칭형 Y-분기는 각각 그 분리각이 0.05°∼0.5°인 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 대칭형 Y-분기를 연결하는 전이영역의 길이는 10㎛∼50㎛로 하고, 상기 마하-젠더 간섭계 광도파로의 중앙부분에서의 상기 대칭형 Y분기 사이의도파로 간격은 15㎛∼30㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 금속열선은 동일한 길이와 두께, 폭을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 금속열선을 직렬 접속시키는 제 1 금전극과 상기 두 개의 금속열선에 각각 접속되어 전력을 공급하는 제 2 금전극을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 두 개의 금속열선은 전기도금법으로 금을 입혀 형성되며, 0.3㎛∼1㎛ 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 열광학 가변 광감쇄기.
