Abstract

PURPOSE: An underwater combustion device is provided to maximize energy efficiency and energy effect by accumulating heat of a heat accumulating device with applying a thermonuclear reaction characteristic of brown gas and absorbing the heat into water. CONSTITUTION: A heating chamber(10) of a boiler is installed in a tank(1) and at a downside, an insertion hole is formed for inserting a gas nozzle(12) of a brown gas generator(11). A diameter of the insertion hole is slightly bigger than the one of the gas nozzle(12) so air of small amount as to be let into a crack and a heat accumulator(14) that is heated by a direct heating flame contacted during brown gas combustion determines a curved groove(15) to double heating efficiency. Upstream of the heat accumulator(14), an exhaust plate(16) is formed. As gas discharged through the gas nozzle is ignited, the heat accumulator made of low carbon steel starts to be heated. A portion that flame of the heat accumulator touches consists of the curved groove that heating time is shortened. In addition, the heating chamber(10) functioning as a combustion chamber generates high temperature heat by combustion of the brown gas to finally absorb heat into water.
