Abstract

The rice quality evaluation method irradiates close infrared rays to the rices prior to drying and detects a quantity of light of the rices, to thereby determine the quality of rice, based upon the detected results. The rice quality evaluation method comprises the steps of blowing the rices prior to drying process by means of a circular type of splash wing in a circumferential direction to thresh the rices; supplying the rices to a close infrared rays analyzing system; and applying to the rices the detected value obtained by irradiating a single or plural wavelengths of the close infrared rays to the rices and the detected line obtained by the component value or quality evaluation value of a drying unpolished rice or drying polished lice, by using a previously additional sample group, to thereby predict and calculate the component value and the quality evaluation value the rices prior to the drying process.
