Abstract

본 고안은 방향지시등설치를 겸한 루프몰딩에 관한 것으로, 루프패널(10)과 아웃사이드패널(20)사이의 접합부에 형성된 요홈(30)에 방향지시등(40)을 설치하여 방향지시등(40)의 하우징(44)이 상기 요홈(30)을 덮어 루프몰딩의 접합부가 외부에서 보여지지 않도록 한 것으로, 본 고안에 의하면 방향지시등을 차량측면에 간단하게 설치시킬 수 있으므로 차량의 측방에서도 방향지시등을 용이하게 파악할 수 있는 잇점이 있고, 이와 아울러 루프몰딩 타입의 차체접합구조에서 미관을 해치던 접합부를 방향지시등이 커버해주게 되어 루프몰딩의 접합부외관을 보다 향상시킬수 있는 것이다.

방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩
제1도는 본 고안에 따른 방향지시등설치를 겸한 루프몰딩의 사시도이고, 제2도는 제1도의 A-A선 단면도이다.

본 고안은 방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩에 관한 것으로, 특히 루프패널과 아웃사이드 패널의 접합부에 형성된 요홈에 방향지시등을 설치하여 접합부의 미관을 향상시킴과 아울러 방향지시등의 파악을 용이하게 할 수 있도록 한 방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩에 관한 것이다. 일반적으로 루프패널과 아웃사이드 패널을 접합시키는 방법은 대체로 플러시타입(FLUSH TYPE)과 루프몰딩타입(ROOF MOLDING TYPE)이 있으며, 플러시타입은 아웃사이드 패널만을 절곡시켜 루프패널에 브로징용접한후, 접합부 및 경계부를 샌딩가공하여 도장하므로써 외관이 미려하나, 작업하기가 까다롭고 어려운 단점이 있고, 루프몰딩타입은 양 패널을 절곡시켜 이 절곡부를 스폿용접시키는 것으로, 작업하기는 쉬우나 접합부가 내측으로 오목하게 형성되어 차량의 외관이 불량한 단점이 있다. 한편, 유럽등지에서는 방향지시등을 차량의 측면에도 부착할 것을 법규상으로 요구하고 있다. 본 고안은 상기한 점을 감안하여 안출된 것으로, 본 고안의 목적은 루프몰딩차입에 있어서 아웃사이드 패널과 루프패널의 접합부 외관을 향상시킴과 동시에 방향지시등을 차량측면에 용이하게 설치할 수 있도록 하는데 있는 것이다. 이와 같은 본 고안의 목적은 차량의 루프패널과 아웃사이드 패널사이의 접합부에 형성된 요홈 내부에, 램프가 내장되고 상기 요홈이 커버되도록 단탁이 형성된 하우징을 구비한 방향지시등이 삽입되어 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩을 제공함으로써 달성될 수 있는 것이다. 이러한 특징을 갖는 본 고안의 구성 및 작용을 첨부된 도면을 토대로 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다. 첨부된 도면중에서 제1도는 본 고안에 따른 방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩의 사시도이고, 제2도는 제1도의 A-A선 단면도이다. 도시된 바와 같이 본 고안은 차량의 루프패널(10)과 아웃사이드 패널(20)사이의 접합부에 형성된 요홈(30)에 방향지시등(40)을 설치한 것이다. 상기 방향 지시등(40)은 그 내부에 램프(40)가 설치되고, 외부에는 투명한 합성수지등으로 형성되며 그 상면 가장자리에 단턱(44A)이 형성된 하우징(44)이 상기 요홈(30)을 덮도록 설치된 것이다. 이와 같이 구성된 본 고안을 더욱 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다. 도시된 바와 같이, 차량의 루프패널(10)과 아웃사이드패널(20)사이의 접합부(33)에 형성된 요홈(30) 내부에 방향지시등(40)의 하우징(44)하부를 삽입하되, 이 방향지시등(40)의 내부에 내장된 램프(42)는 기존의 방향지시등 회로와 연결한다. 상기 접합부의 요홈(30)내부에 방향지시등(40)의 하우징(44)하부가 삽입되면, 상기 하우징(44)의 상면 가장자리에 형성된 단턱(44A)이 요홈(30)의 개구부 가장자리에 밀착되도록 하여 상기 방향지시등(40)의 하우징(44)이 요홈(30)을 덮어 커버할 수 있도록 한다. 이때, 상기 하우징(44)의 상부에 형성된 턱이 요홈(30)의 개구부 가장자리에 밀착되도록 하우징(44)이 요홈(30)에 삽입되어 설치됨으로써, 상기 요홈(30)은 하우징(44)에 의해 커버되어 차량의 루프패널(10)과 아웃사이드패널(20)사이에 형성된 접합부(33)가 외부에 노출되지않게 되는 것이다. 이와 같이 루프몰딩의 접합부(33)에 형성된 요홈(30)에 램프(42)가 내장된 하우징(44)이 삽입되어 설치된 상태어서, 운전자가 차량의 방향을 전환시키기 위하여 방향지시등 스위치(도시되지 않음)를 작동시키게 되면, 상기 램프(42)가 기존 방향지시등 회로와 연결되어 있기 때문에, 해당되는 방향지시등(40)은 기존의 방향지시등과 동시에 점멸하게 되어, 차량의 후방에서는 물론 측방에서도 차량의 방향전환신호를 용이하게 인식할 수 있고, 미관을 해치던 접합부(33)의 요홈(30)이 상기 방향지시등(40)의 하우징(44)에 의해 커버되어 외부로 노출되는 것이 방지된다.
이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 본 고안은 루프패널과 아웃사이드 패널사이의 접합부에 형성된 요홈에 방향지시등을 설치한 것으로, 본 고안에 의하면 방향지시등을 차량의 측면에 간단하게 설치시킬 수 있으므로, 차량의 측방에서도 방향전환신호를 용이하게 인식할 수 있는 효과가 있고, 이와 아울러 루프몰딩타입의 차체접합구조에서 미관을 해치던 접합부를 방향지시등이 커버해주게 되어 루프몰딩의 접합부 외관을 보다 향상시킬 수 있는 유용한 고안이다.

  1. 차량의 루프패널(10)과 아웃사이드패널(20)사이의 접합부(33)에 형성된 요홈(30)의 내부에, 상기 요홈(30)이 커버되도록 램프(42)가 내장되고 단턱(44A)이 형성된 하우징(44)을 구비한 방향지시등(40)이 삽입되어 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방향지시등 설치를 겸한 루프몰딩.
