The present invention relates to a transmission support member of a vehicle, and more particularly, to a transmission support member of a vehicle having a structure to attenuate vibration of the vehicle when driving the vehicle to improve the ride comfort of the vehicle.
Typically, an automobile is equipped with an engine for generating driving force for driving the automobile in the front part of the vehicle, and a transmission for transmitting driving force from the engine to the driving wheel. The transmission is composed of a large number of gear trains (gear train) at a speed of a plurality of stages, to shift the vehicle in four forward and first reverse gear is usually heavy.
A vehicle equipped with such a transmission uses a support member made of metal such as steel to support the transmission, and FIG. 1 shows a state in which the transmission is supported by the vehicle. The transmission 10 is supported by the support member 11 established in the vehicle body through the bracket 13 supporting the leg 12 installed at both lower portions.
The support member 11 has a certain strength so as to support the weight of the transmission 10, and also to prevent and absorb the vibration caused by the weight of the transmission 10 during driving of the vehicle, the front shape and the third view of FIG. It has a cross-sectional shape as shown. This cross-sectional shape absorbs the vibration of the transmission 10 in the front-rear direction as well as the vibration in the vertical direction when the vehicle is driven, thereby preventing the transmission of the vehicle body to make the passenger feel more comfortable.
However, since the conventional transmission support member is made of only metal such as steel, there is a certain limit in absorbing vibration generated by the weight of the transmission of the automobile. That is, since steel is a material that has great rigidity but transmits vibrations more quickly and easily, vibration caused by the weight of the transmission during vehicle driving is transmitted to the occupant through the vehicle body, so that the comfort of the vehicle is reduced. Rather, there was a problem that the fastening means such as screws to fasten the parts to each other due to vibration.
In addition, when a direct contact between the transmission and the support member occurs due to inertia of the vehicle when starting or stopping quickly, there is a fear that deformation and cracking of the support member may occur, and there may be a bad effect on the transmission.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to support the weight of the transmission as well as to dampen and absorb vibrations caused by the weight of the transmission when the vehicle is driven, thereby improving the riding comfort of the vehicle, and damaging the two members during direct contact between the transmission and the support member. It is to provide a transmission support member that can be avoided.
The above object is, in the transmission support member of the vehicle for connecting to the vehicle body by supporting the transmission of the vehicle through the connecting bracket according to the present invention, the support member is a portion supporting the transmission and a portion connected to the vehicle body is supported It is achieved by a transmission support member of a motor vehicle characterized by being covered with a rubber.
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
4 is a cross-sectional view of the transmission support member 11 according to the present invention. The support member 11 is mechanically machined so that the flange portions 11a are formed on both the upper and lower sides (as seen in the drawing). Vibration caused by the shaking of the vehicle 10 when the vehicle is driven on the outer side of the upper flange portion 11a supporting the transmission 10 and the bar side of the lower flange portion 11a connected to the vehicle body. The rubber coating part 14 coated with the rubber is formed to absorb more efficiently.
Usually, it is well known that rubber has better vibration absorbing and noise blocking functions than steel, and the description thereof is omitted here because it is also a well-known technique to coat the rubber therein. Also, as is well known, the rubber is an elastic material, so that the fastening between the component parts, that is, between the transmission 10 and the support member 11 and between the vehicle body and the support member 11 is more firmly maintained.
Therefore, the transmission support member of the automobile according to the present invention can be generated during direct contact between the transmission and the support member as well as the vibration absorbing effect which is superior to the conventional one by providing a rubber-coated portion to the portion supporting the transmission. There is an effect that can prevent damage to the supporting member and the transmission.
Therefore, the ride comfort of the vehicle can be improved, and improved safety for the vehicle can be given.
