본고안은 전기용접기의 케이블을 길게 연장시켜서 행동반경이 넓게 작업을 수행할 수 있도록 된 케이블 콘넥트에 관한 것이다. 종래에도 플러그와 소켓으로 구성된 케이블 콘넥트가 다수 안출된 바 있었으나, 대개가 플러그의 단자에 돌출된 돌기가 소켓의 단자접속관에 형성된 홈에 괘지되게한 구성으로서, 괘지상태가 긴밀하지 못하여 스파크가 발생되고 진동이나 외부의 충격시 쉽게 분리되는 결점이 있었으며, 이를 위하여 별도의 고정장치를 부설하는 경우 구조가 복잡하여 제작이 번거러운 문제점이 있었다.
본 고안에서는 이러한 문제점을 감안하여서 플러그의 단자 선단에 금속성의 스프링을 돌출되게 설치하여서 플러그의 단자를 소켓의 단자접속관에 접속할 때 금속스프링의 선단이 단자접속관의 내측면에 압접되게 하고 이 압접된 금속스프링의 반발작용에 의하여 단자의 돌기가 단자접속관의 홈에 단단하고 긴밀히 괘지되게 하므로서 이동시나 외부의 충격에도 쉽게 분리될 염려가 적고, 금속스프링에 의해 전원의 접속이 더욱 확실하여서 스파크가 발생되지 않으므로 안전하게 취급할 수 있도록 된 것인바, 이를 첨부된 도면에 따라 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
플러그(1)의 단자(2)에 돌출된 돌기(3)(3')가 소켓(5)의 단자접속관(6)에 형성된 홈(7)(7')에 괘지되어서 접속되게 한 것에 있어서, 단자(2)의 선단부에 금속스프링(4)이 돌출되게 설치되고 이 금속스프링(4)의 선단이 단자접속관(6)의 내측면에 압접되게 한 구성이다.
미설명부호 8, 9는 절연고무커버, 10은 케이블(11)의 체결나사, 11은 케이블, 12는 케이블(11)의 심이다.
이와같이 된 본고안의 작용효과를 설명하면, 플러그(1)와 소켓(5)의 후미부에 각기 케이블(11)의 심(12)을 삽입하여서 체결나사(10)로 고정하고, 소켓(5)의 단자접속관(6)에 플러그(1)의 단자(2)를 삽입한후 우회전 시키면, 단자(2)의 돌기(3)(3')가 소켓(5)의 홈(7)(7')에 괘지 되는데 이때 단자접속관(6)의 내측면에 압접되어있는 금속스프링(4)의 반발력에 의해 돌기(3)(3')가 홈(7)(7')에 단단히 밀착 괘지되어서 이동시나 외부의 충격에도 쉽게 분리되지 않고 또한 스파크나 단절의 염려가 없어서 안전하게 사용할 수가 있게된 것이다.

  1. 플러그(1)의 단자(2)에 돌출된 돌기(3)(3')가 소켓(5)의 단자접속관(6)에 형성된 홈(7)(7')에 괘지되어서 접속되게 한 것에 있어서, 단자(2)의 선단부에 금속스프링(4)을 돌출되게 설치하여서 금속스프링(4)의 선단이 단자접속관(6)의 내측면에 압접되게 함을 특징으로 한 전기용접기용 케이블 콘넥터.
