The mixed powder intermediate compact that has been actively heated to the equivalent temperature is set in a second mold that has been warmed up to the melting point equivalent temperature, and the second powder is then added to the mixed powder intermediate compact in the second mold. Pressure is applied to form a high-density mixed powder finished compact.

Description

The present invention relates to a high-density molding method and a high-density molding apparatus capable of molding a green compact with a high density (for example, 7.75 g / cm 3 ) by pressing the mixed powder twice.

In general, in the powder metallurgy technique, a metal powder is pressed (compressed) to form a green compact having a predetermined shape, and then the green compact is heated to a temperature near the melting point of the metal powder to form an interparticle bond ( It is a series of techniques for performing a sintering process that promotes solidification. As a result, it is possible to manufacture a mechanical component having a complicated shape and high precision in a low cost.

With the demand for further miniaturization and weight reduction of mechanical parts, improvement in the mechanical strength of the green compact is required. On the other hand, it is said that when the green compact is exposed to a high temperature atmosphere, the magnetic properties are deteriorated. Thus, for example, in the actual production of the green compact for a magnetic core, the subsequent high-temperature treatment (sintering treatment) may be omitted. In other words, a method for increasing the mechanical strength without searching for a high temperature (sintering) is being sought.

Here, the mechanical strength is said to increase significantly (hyperbolic) as the density of the green compact is increased. As a typical densification method, a method in which pressure forming is performed while reducing frictional resistance by mixing a lubricant with metal powder is proposed (for example, JP-A-1-219101 (Patent Document 1)). ) In general, a mixed powder obtained by mixing a base metal powder with about 1 wt% (1 wt%) of a lubricant is pressed. Many proposals aiming at further higher density have been made. These proposals can be broadly divided into improvements in the lubricant itself and improvements in processes related to pressure forming and sintering.

The former belongs to the proposal that the lubricant is a carbon molecule composite in which ball-like carbon molecules and plate-like carbon molecules are combined (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2009-280908 (Patent Document 2)), penetration at 25 ° C. Can be mentioned as a lubricant having a thickness of 0.3 to 10 mm (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2010-37632 (Patent Document 3)). Both are ideas for reducing the frictional resistance between metal powders and between metal powder and a mold.

The latter belongs to the warm forming / sintered powder metallurgy method (JP-A-2-156002 (Patent Document 4)), the pre-warm forming powder metallurgy method (JP-A 2000-87104). (Patent Document 5)) 2 times press-2 times sintered powder metallurgy method (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-231404 (Patent Document 6)) and 1 time molding-sintered powder metallurgy method (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-181701) (Patent Document 7)) is known.

The first warm forming / sintering powder metallurgy method is to preheat a metal powder mixed with a solid lubricant and a liquid lubricant to melt part (or all) of the lubricant and to apply the lubricant between the particles. Disperse. Thus, the moldability is improved by reducing the frictional resistance between the particles and between the particles and the mold. A pre-warm forming powder metallurgy method that facilitates handling is a primary forming step of forming a primary compact that can be handled by pressurizing the mixed powder prior to the warm forming step (eg, density ratio is less than 76%). The secondary molded body (green compact) is obtained by carrying out a secondary molding step while the primary molded body is temporarily collapsed while the primary molded body is at a temperature lower than the temperature at which blue brittleness occurs. is there. In the double press-double sintered powder metallurgy method, an iron powder mixture containing an alloying component is pressed in a die to produce a green compact, and this compact (compact) is pressed at 870 ° C. for 5 minutes. The pre-sintered body is preliminarily sintered to generate a pre-sintered body, and the pre-sintered body is pressed to generate a pre-sintered body that has been pressed twice, and then the pre-sintered body that has been pressed twice is 1000 This is a method for producing a sintered part by sintering at 5 ° C. for 5 minutes. In the last one-time molding-sintered powder metallurgy method, the mold is pre-heated and the lubricant is charged and adhered to the inner surface, and then the iron-based powder mixture (iron-based powder + lubricated) heated in the mold. Agent powder), press-molded at a predetermined temperature to form an iron-based powder molded body, then subject the iron-based powder molded body to sintering treatment, further bright quenching, and then tempering treatment. This is a method for producing an iron-based sintered body.

As described above, the density of the green compact is at most about 7.4 g / cm 3 (94% of the true density) in any improvement measures concerning the lubricant and the pressure forming / sintering process. Insufficient mechanical strength. Furthermore, when performing sintering treatment (high temperature atmosphere), oxidation proceeds according to temperature and time, so that the lubricant in the powder particle coating state burns and a residue is generated. The density in production will be 7.3 g / cm 3 or less because it causes quality degradation. In addition, any improvement measures are likely to be complicated and expensive. Handling is cumbersome and there are difficulties in practicality.

In particular, considering the production of magnetic cores (magnetic cores) for electromagnetic equipment (motors, transformers, etc.) from green compacts, it is pointed out that this level of density (7.3 g / cm 3 or less) is extremely unsatisfactory. strong. In order to reduce the loss (iron loss, hysteresis loss) and increase the magnetic flux density, it is necessary to further increase the density of the green compact. For example, it is obvious from the presentation materials (provided by Toyota Central Research Institute, Inc.) at the 2009 Autumn Meeting of the Powder and Powder Metallurgy Association. It has been pointed out that even if the density of the magnetic core is 7.5 g / cm 3 , for example, not only the magnetic properties but also the mechanical strength is unsatisfactory.

Regarding the production of the green compact for magnetic core, a two-time molding-one-time sintering (one-time annealing) powder metallurgy method (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-343657 (Patent Document 8)) has been proposed. This proposed powder metallurgy method is based on the technical matter that if a coating containing a silicone resin and a pigment is formed on the surface of a magnetic metal powder, the insulation will not deteriorate even if a high temperature treatment is subsequently applied. It is. That is, the method for producing a dust core is to preform a magnetic powder whose surface is coated with a coating containing a silicone resin and a pigment to form a preform, and heat-treat the preform at a temperature of 500 ° C. or higher. To form a heat treated body, and then the heat treated body is subjected to compression molding. If the temperature for heat treatment is 500 ° C. or lower, breakage is likely to occur during subsequent compression molding, and if it is 1000 ° C. or higher, the insulating coating is decomposed and the insulating properties are burned out. This high temperature treatment is performed in vacuum, in an inert gas atmosphere or in a reducing gas atmosphere from the viewpoint of preventing oxidation of the preform. Thus, it is described that a dust core having a true density of 98% (7.7 g / cm 3 ) can be produced.

However, the two-molding-one-sintering powder metallurgy method (Patent Document 8) is more complicated and individualized than the other proposed methods, and it is difficult to implement and implement, resulting in a low manufacturing cost. Incurs a significant increase. Further, it is a requirement that the preform is heat-treated at 500 ° C. or higher. Since the quality of the dust core must be performed in a special atmosphere in order to prevent deterioration, it is not suitable for mass production. In particular, in the case of a vitreous film-coated magnetic metal powder, the vitreous material is altered and dissolved, so that it cannot be applied.

In any of the above proposed methods and apparatuses (Patent Documents 1 to 8), there is a description that can be carried out with respect to a sintering process in a relatively high temperature atmosphere, but details regarding the pressure molding process are not clear. Neither the specification / function of the pressure molding machine, the relationship between the applied pressure and density, nor the analysis of its limitations, can be described for new improvements.

Thus, the development of methods and equipment that can produce high-density green compacts (especially high-density green compacts for magnetic cores) reliably, stably, and at low cost, in view of the need for further mechanical strength associated with the reduction in size and weight. Is urgently needed.

An object of the present invention is to provide a mixed powder high-density molding method capable of producing a high-density green compact by performing two times of pressure forming with the heating sandwiched between the mixed powders and greatly reducing the production cost. And providing a high-density molding apparatus.

Since the green compact is manufactured by the sintering metallurgy technique, it has been essential to subject the pressed green compact to a sintering treatment in a high temperature atmosphere (for example, 800 ° C. or higher). However, the high-temperature processing for sintering not only consumes a large amount of energy and has a huge cost burden, but also has a great negative effect on global environmental protection, so it needs to be reviewed.

Conventionally, the pressure molding process establishes the mixed powder as a specific form, and is considered as a pre-stage (preliminary) mechanical process of the high-temperature sintering process and has been treated as such. However, only in the case of producing a green compact for use in an electromagnetic device (motor, transformer, etc.), the actual situation is that the high-temperature treatment for sintering is omitted exceptionally. This is to avoid adverse effects (deterioration of magnetic properties) caused by high temperature treatment. In other words, they were forced to obey dissatisfaction with the mechanical strength. Insufficient mechanical strength is a matter of density, and of course, the magnetic properties were also insufficient.

Here, if high-density molding of a green compact can be performed only by a pressure molding process without performing a high-temperature sintering process, industrial use and spread of the green compact should be drastically improved. The present invention relates to the effectiveness of the lubricant during pressurization, the compression limit including the lubricant powder, the spatial occupancy in the mixed powder of the lubricant powder, the spatial arrangement state of the base metal powder and the lubricant powder, Based on research on their behavior and the final disposal mode of lubricants, as well as on the analysis of the effects of general pressure molding machine characteristics, compression limit and density of green compacts on strength and magnetism, and equipment It was created as a product that can promote the shortening of the actual manufacturing cycle while ensuring the safety of the product.

That is, according to the present invention, a mixed powder obtained by mixing a base metal powder with a powder lubricant is filled in a first mold, and the true density ratio is 85 to 85 by the first pressurizing step while maintaining the powder state of the lubricant. A 96% intermediate green compact is molded, and then the lubricant is heated and liquefied to modify the lubricating aspect of the intermediate green compact, and then a second pressurizing step is applied to achieve a high density close to true density. This is to form a finished green compact with a density. In other words, in connection with the creation of a new powder metallurgy technology (two pressure moldings sandwiching the liquefaction process of the lubricant) that has been removed from the conventional sintering metallurgy technology that requires high-temperature sintering treatment, It is an object of the present invention to provide an innovative and practical method and apparatus capable of reliably and stably producing a body at a low cost.

(1) Specifically, in the mixed powder high-density molding method according to the first aspect of the present invention, a mixed powder obtained by mixing a base metal powder with a low-melting-point lubricant powder is filled in a first mold, When the maximum density of the mixed powder intermediate compression body that can be formed by applying a pressing force of 1 is 100%, the density ratio is 85% to 85% by applying the first pressing force to the mixed powder in the first mold. A 96% mixed powder intermediate compact is molded, and the mixed powder intermediate compact taken out of the first mold is heated to positively increase the temperature of the mixed powder intermediate compact to the melting point equivalent temperature of the lubricant powder. The heated and heated mixed powder intermediate compression body is set in the second mold, and the second pressing force is applied to the mixed powder intermediate compression body in the second mold to complete compression of the high-density mixed powder. The body is molded.

(2) In the invention of (1) above, the melting point of the lubricant powder can be a low melting point belonging to a temperature range of 90 to 190 ° C.

(3) In the invention of the above (1) or (2), the second mold can be warmed up to the temperature corresponding to the melting point before receiving the mixed powder intermediate compressed body.

(4) In the invention of (1) or (2), the second pressure is equal to the first pressure.

Furthermore, (5) the mixed powder high-density molding apparatus according to the second aspect of the present invention includes a mixed powder feeder capable of supplying a mixed powder obtained by mixing a low melting point lubricant powder to a base metal powder to the outside, A first pressure molding machine that forms a mixed powder intermediate compression body by applying a first pressing force to the mixed powder filled in the first mold using the mixed powder feeder, and a first mold A heating temperature riser for raising the temperature of the mixed powder intermediate compact taken out from the temperature to the melting point equivalent temperature of the lubricant powder, and a second mold that can be warmed up to the melting point equivalent temperature in advance. A second pressure molding machine for forming a high-density mixed powder finished compressed body by applying a second pressure to the heated mixed powder intermediate compressed body set in the warmed-up second mold The maximum density of the mixed powder intermediate compression body that can be formed by the first pressure molding machine applying the first pressure is 100%. Density ratio by the first pressing force added to the mixed powder in the first mold are moldable to form a mixed powder intermediate compression of 85% to 96% in the case.

Furthermore, (6) in the invention of (5) above, the heating temperature raising machine and the second pressure molding machine are formed from a heating pressure molding machine in which these functions are integrated, and the heating pressure molding machine Are formed from a plurality of heat-pressure forming child machines, and each heat-pressure forming child machine is formed so that it can be selected and operated for each cycle.

(7) In the invention of (5), a warm-up device for warming up the second mold can be provided.

(8) In the invention of (5), the mixed powder intermediate compressed body formed by the first pressure molding machine is transferred to the heating temperature raising device and heated by the heating temperature raising device. The apparatus may further include a workpiece transfer device that transfers the powder intermediate compression body to the second pressure molding machine and transfers the mixed powder finished compression body molded by the second pressure molding machine to a discharge unit. it can.

Can promote.

According to the invention of (2) above, a sufficient lubricating action can be ensured while promoting the suppression of the oxidation of the lubricant during the first pressurizing step. Moreover, the selectivity for the type of lubricant is wide.

According to the invention of the above (3), since the fluidity of the dissolved lubricant in all directions during the second pressure molding can be further enhanced, not only between the base metal particles but also the particles and the second mold. The frictional resistance between the two can be greatly reduced and maintained.

According to the invention of the above (7), even when there is a possibility that the temperature of the mixed powder intermediate compression body may be lowered by the time of starting the finished green compact by warming up the second mold. Since the powder intermediate compact can be contained within a certain temperature range, a good molding effect can be obtained.

According to invention of said (8), by having a workpiece conveyance apparatus, it is between a 1st pressure molding machine and the said heating temperature raising machine, between a heating temperature raising machine and a 2nd pressure molding machine. Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

(First embodiment)
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5E, the mixed powder high-density molding apparatus 1 includes a mixed powder feeder 10, a first pressure molding machine 20, a heating temperature riser 30, and a second pressure molding machine 40. A mixed powder filling step (PR1) in which a mixed powder 100 in which a low melting point lubricant powder is mixed with a base metal powder is filled in a first mold (lower mold 21), and a first pressure P1 is applied. When the maximum density of the mixed powder intermediate compact that can be molded is 100%, the density ratio is 85 to 96% by applying the first pressure P1 to the mixed powder in the first mold (lower mold 21). Intermediate powder compacting step (PR2) for molding the mixed powder intermediate compact (also referred to as intermediate compact 110), and intermediate compact 110 taken out from the first mold (lower mold 21). Is heated to positively raise the temperature of the intermediate green compact 110 to a temperature corresponding to the melting point of the lubricant powder. Temperature step (PR3), step (PR4) of setting the heated intermediate green compact 110 in the second mold (lower mold 41) and intermediate green compact in the second mold (lower mold 41) The second mixed pressure P2 is applied to 110 to form a high-density mixed powder finished compact (sometimes referred to as a finished green compact 120). The density forming method can be carried out stably and reliably.

The mixed powder 100 in the present specification means a mixture of a base metal powder and a low melting point lubricant powder. In addition, as the base metal powder, there are a case where it consists of only one kind of main metal powder and a case where it consists of one kind of main metal powder and one or a plurality of alloying component powders. The case can be adapted. The low melting point means that the temperature (melting point) is significantly lower than the melting point (temperature) of the base metal powder (melting point) and the temperature (melting point) can greatly suppress oxidation of the base metal powder. .

In FIG. 2 showing the high-density molding apparatus 1, the mixed powder supply machine 10 disposed on the leftmost side (upstream side) of the high-density molding line uses the mixed powder 100 as a part of the first pressure molding machine 20. This is a device for supplying the first mold (lower mold 21) to be configured and filling the cavity 22 therein. It has a function of holding a fixed amount of mixed powder 100 and a function of supplying a fixed amount, and as a whole, an initial position (position indicated by a solid line in FIGS. 2, 3A, and 3B) and a first mold (lower mold 21). It can selectively reciprocate between the upper position (the position indicated by the broken line in FIGS. 3A and 3B).

Since it is important to uniformly and sufficiently fill the mixed powder 100 anywhere in the first mold (lower mold 21), the mixed powder 100 must be in a smooth state. That is, since the form of the internal space (cavity 22) of the first mold (lower mold 21) is a form corresponding to the product form, even if the product form is complicated or has a narrow portion, the intermediate pressure In order to guarantee the dimensional accuracy of the powder 110, non-uniform filling or insufficient filling is not preferable.

Although the form (dimensions and shape) of the finished green compact 120 (intermediate green compact 110) is not particularly limited, examples are shown in FIGS. 5A to 5E. 5A shows a ring shape, FIG. 5B shows a cylindrical shape, FIG. 5C shows an elongated round shaft shape, FIG. 5D shows a disk shape, and FIG. 5E shows a complex shape.

That is, the upper die (upper punch) 25 of the first pressure molding machine 20 and the cavity 22 of the lower die 21 have a shape corresponding to the form (shape) of the intermediate green compact 110. When the form of the intermediate green compact 110 is, for example, as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5E, the shapes correspond to the respective shapes. When the form of the intermediate green compact 110 is the ring shape shown in FIG. 5A, the shape of the upper die (upper punch) 25 is an annular tube shape and the shape of the lower die 21 as shown in FIGS. 2, 3A, and 3B. Becomes a hollow annular tube shape. In the case of the columnar shape shown in FIG. 5B, the shape of the upper die (upper punch) 25 is a solid cylindrical (columnar) shape, and the shape of the lower die 21 is a hollow cylindrical shape. The shape of the disk in FIG. 5C and the shape of the elongated round shaft in FIG. 5D are similar (however, there is a difference in depth). In the case of the complicated shape shown in FIG. 5E, the corresponding complicated shape is obtained. The same applies to the upper mold (upper punch) 45 of the second pressure molding machine 40 and the cavity 42 of the lower mold 41.

Here, the lubricant for reducing the frictional resistance between the particles of the base metal powder and the frictional resistance between the base metal powder and the inner surface of the mold is a solid (very small granular) or powder in a smooth state at room temperature. Choose what is. For example, when a liquid lubricant is used, the mixed powder 100 has a high viscosity and low fluidity, so uniform filling and sufficient filling cannot be performed.

Next, during the intermediate green compact molding which is performed in the first mold (lower mold 21) at normal temperature and while applying the first pressure P1, the lubricant is solid and maintains a predetermined lubricating action stably. It must be possible. Even if there is a case where a slight temperature increase may occur due to the pressurization of the first pressurizing force P1, it should be kept stable as well.

On the other hand, the melting point of the lubricant powder is much higher than the melting point of the base metal powder from the viewpoint of the relationship with the heating temperature raising step (PR3) performed after the intermediate green compact molding and the suppression of oxidation of the base metal powder. Must have a low melting point (low melting point).

In this embodiment, the melting point of the lubricant powder is selected as a low melting point belonging to a temperature range of 90 to 190 ° C. The lower temperature (for example, 90 ° C.) is an upper limit temperature (for example, 70 to 80 ° C.) that will not reach this temperature even if a certain amount of temperature rise occurs during intermediate green compact molding. 80 ° C.) with a margin (90 ° C.), and further selected with a focus on the melting point (eg 110 ° C.) of other metal soaps. That is, the concern that the lubricating oil powder is dissolved (liquefied) and flows out during the pressure molding of the intermediate green compact is eliminated.

The upper temperature (for example, 190 ° C.) is selected as the minimum value from the viewpoint of expanding the selectivity with respect to the type of the lubricant powder, and particularly as the maximum value from the viewpoint of suppressing oxidation of the base metal powder during the heating temperature raising step. It is. That is, the lower temperature and the upper temperature in this temperature range (90 to 190 ° C.) should be understood as boundary values rather than limit values.

Thus, many substances belonging to the metal soap (such as zinc stearate and magnesium stearate) can be selectively employed as the lubricant powder. Since the lubricant must be in a powder state, a viscous liquid such as zinc octylate cannot be used.

In this embodiment, zinc stearate powder having a melting point of 120 ° C. was used as the lubricant powder. In the present invention, as in the invention of Patent Document 7, a pressure molding is performed while using a lubricant having a temperature (melting point) lower than the mold temperature at the time of pressure molding and dissolving (liquefying) the lubricant from the beginning. The idea of performing is denied. If the dissolved lubricant flows out before the end of the molding of the intermediate green compact 110, it will be easy to generate insufficiently lubricated parts on the way, so that sufficient pressure molding cannot be performed reliably and stably. Because.

The amount of lubricant powder shall be a value selected from experimental studies and empirical rules through actual production. First, in relation to the intermediate green compact forming step (PR2), the amount of the lubricant powder is 0.23 to 0.08 wt% of the total amount of the mixed powder. 0.08 wt% is a lower limit value that can ensure the lubricating action until the molding of the intermediate green compact 110 is completed, and 0.23 wt% obtains an expected compression ratio when the mixed powder 100 is used as the intermediate green compact 110. This is the upper limit value necessary for this purpose.

Next, the amount of the lubricant powder in practical use is the value of the true density ratio of the intermediate green compact 110 formed by applying the first pressurizing force in the first mold (lower mold 21) and the first. It should be determined that the sweating phenomenon in the second mold (lower mold 41) can be secured. At this time, it should not be overlooked from the viewpoint of preventing the occurrence of liquid dripping (liquid dripping phenomenon) of the liquefied lubricant from the mold, which causes deterioration of the working environment. In this embodiment, since the value of the true density ratio of the intermediate green compact 110 (ratio to the true density of 100%) is 80 to 90%, the amount of the lubricant powder is 0.2 to 0.1 wt%. . The upper limit value (0.2 wt%) is determined from the viewpoint of preventing the occurrence of a dripping phenomenon, and the lower limit value (0.1 wt%) is determined from the viewpoint of allowing the necessary and sufficient sweating phenomenon to occur without excess or deficiency. . Compared to the conventional proposal example (1 wt%), the amount is extremely small, and the industrial utility can be greatly improved.

Prevention of dripping phenomenon is extremely important for actual production. At the desk plan or research stage, there is a tendency to mix excessive lubricants, which is concerned about the lack of lubricants from the viewpoint of reducing frictional resistance during pressurization. For example, since it is in the stage of trial and error as to whether a high density exceeding 7.3 g / cm 3 can be achieved, there is absolutely no interest in the event that excessive lubricant liquefies and flows out of the mold. There is no recognition of the dripping phenomenon. In other words, the dripping of the liquefied lubricant increases the cost due to an increase in the lubricant usage fee, reduces the productivity due to the deterioration of the work environment, and increases the burden on the worker. Does not lead to widespread use.

In the case of the intermediate green compact 110 obtained by compressing the 0.2 wt% mixed powder 100 to a true density ratio of 80%, when the temperature is positively raised to the melting point equivalent temperature of the lubricant powder in the heating temperature raising step (PR3), The powder lubricant interspersed in the intermediate green compact 110 melts to fill the voids between the metal powder grains, and then passes between the metal powder grains and uniformly on the surface of the intermediate green compact 110. Exudes (spouts). That is, a sweating phenomenon is induced. When this intermediate green compact 110 is compressed by applying a second pressure P2 in the second mold (lower mold 41), the frictional resistance between the base metal powder and the cavity inner wall is greatly reduced. .

In the case of the intermediate green compact 110 obtained by compressing the 0.1 wt% mixed powder 100 to a true density ratio of 90%, the mixed powder 100 having a value exceeding 0.1 wt% and less than 0.2 wt% is also true density. In the case of the intermediate green compact 110 compressed to a value within the range of less than 90% and exceeding 80%, a similar sweating phenomenon can be expressed. The occurrence of dripping phenomenon can also be prevented.

Thus, it is possible to produce a green compact (for example, a magnetic core) that can be molded at a high density and satisfy not only the magnetic properties but also the mechanical strength, and the possibility of mold breakage can be eliminated. In addition, the amount of lubricant consumed can be greatly reduced, and the liquid lubricant from the second mold (lower mold 41) can be prevented from flowing down, resulting in a favorable working environment. As a whole, the productivity can be improved and the green compact manufacturing cost can be reduced, so the industrial applicability can be greatly improved.

Incidentally, in any of the conventional methods and apparatuses described above (Patent Documents 1 to 8), the relationship between the content of the lubricant and the compression ratio of the mixed powder, the dripping phenomenon due to the amount of the lubricant, and the perspiration phenomenon are recognized. Absent.

In particular, even with the warm powder metallurgy method (Patent Document 5), it can be understood that a primary molded body having a density ratio of less than 76% is formed for easy handling, but the technical basis and feasibility of high-density forming are possible. Nothing is disclosed. On the other hand, from the point of forming the secondary molded body after collapsing the primary molded body after that, there is no denying the technical idea of increasing the density by stacking the primary molding and the secondary molding.

The first pressure molding machine 20 applies a first pressure P1 to the mixed powder 100 filled in the first mold (lower mold 21) using the mixed powder supply machine 10 to mix the mixed powder intermediate compact. This is an apparatus for forming (intermediate green compact 110). In this embodiment, it is a press machine structure.

In FIG. 2, the first mold apparatus is composed of a lower die (die) 21 on the bolster side and an upper die (punch) 25 on the slide 5 side. The cavity 22 of the lower mold 21 has a shape (hollow annular tube shape) corresponding to the form (ring shape) of the intermediate green compact 110 shown in FIG. 5A. That is, the upper die (upper punch) 25 is in a form that can be pushed into the lower die 21 (cavity 22) (annular cylindrical shape shown in FIGS. 2, 3A, and 3B), and is moved up and down by the slide 5. A movable member 23 is fitted below the cavity 22 so as to be displaced in the vertical direction.

Since the cavity 22 of the upper mold (upper punch) 25 and the lower mold (die) 21 of the first pressure molding machine 20 has a shape corresponding to the form (shape) of the intermediate green compact 110, the intermediate green compact Also when the form of the body 110 is as shown in FIGS. 5B to 5E, it has a shape corresponding to each. The same applies to the upper mold (upper punch) 45 of the second pressure molding machine 40 and the cavity 42 of the lower mold 41.

The movable member 23 is displaced upward by a knockout pin (not shown) protruding through a through hole 24 provided below the ground level GL. That is, the intermediate green compact 110 in the first mold [lower mold 21 (cavity 22)] can be pushed up to the transfer level HL. When viewed from the outside, it functions as a first extracting device for extracting the intermediate green compact 110 in the first mold (lower mold 21) to the outside (HL). After the intermediate green compact 110 is transferred to the heating warmer 30 side, the movable member 23 returns to the initial position together with the knockout pin. But you may form a 1st extraction apparatus from another special apparatus.

The relationship between the pressing force P (first pressing force P1) in the first pressure molding machine 20 and the density ratio (density ρ) of the intermediate green compact 110 obtained correspondingly is described with reference to FIG. I will explain. The horizontal axis indicates the applied pressure P as an index. The maximum capacity (pressing force P) in this embodiment is 10 Ton / cm 2 , and this is taken as the horizontal axis index 100. Pb is a mold breakage pressure and has a horizontal axis index of 140 (14 Ton / cm 2 ). The vertical axis represents the density ratio (density ρ) as an index. The vertical axis index 100 corresponds to a true density ratio (density ρ) of 97% (7.6 g / cm 3 ).

In this embodiment, the base metal powder is a glassy insulating coating coated iron powder for magnetic core (true density is 7.8 g / cm 3 ), and the lubricant powder is stearin in the range of 0.2 to 0.1 wt%. True density ratio of 80 to 90%, which is zinc acid powder and the first pressing force P1 corresponds to the mixed powder intermediate compression body with a longitudinal index of 82 to 92 [equivalent to density ρ (6.24 to 7.02 g / cm 3 )] Selected to be compressible.

Incidentally, the vertical axis index 102 corresponds to the density ρ (7.75 g / cm 3 ), and the true density ratio (density ρ) corresponds to 99%.

The base metal powder may be iron-based amorphous powder for magnetic core (Fe-Si alloy powder for magnetic core), iron-based amorphous powder for magnetic core, Fe-Si alloy powder for magnetic core, pure iron powder for machine parts, and the like.

第1の加圧力P1(横軸指数100)で、密度ρが7.6g/cmとなる。 When the first pressure P1 is increased, the density ρ obtained by the first pressure molding machine 20 increases according to the characteristic A (curve) shown in FIG. The density ρ is 7.6 g / cm 3 at the first pressure P1 (the horizontal axis index is 100). The true density ratio is 97%. Even if the first pressure P1 is increased to a value higher than this, the increase in the density ρ is minimal. Strong risk of mold damage.

Conventionally, if the density ρ obtained by pressing at the maximum capacity of a press molding machine (press machine) is not satisfactory, it has been necessary to equip a larger press machine. However, even if the maximum capacity is increased to, for example, 1.5 times, the increase in the density ρ is slight. Thus, it was the actual situation that compromised with a low density ρ (for example, 7.5 g / cm 3 ) which is currently available with a press machine.

Here, currently used as it is press machine, if the longitudinal axis index 100 (7.6g / cm 3) to be increased to 102 (7.75g / cm 3), it can be understood as innovative. That is, if the density ρ can be improved by 2%, the magnetic characteristics can be greatly improved (hyperbolic), and the mechanical strength can be dramatically improved. In addition, since the sintering process in a high-temperature atmosphere can be eliminated, oxidation of the green compact can be significantly suppressed (deterioration of magnetic core performance can be prevented).

In order to realize the above, the intermediate green compact 110 molded by the first pressure molding machine 20 is heated to promote the dissolution (liquefaction) of the lubricant, and then the second pressure molding machine 40 It is formed so as to perform the second pressure molding process. When the intermediate green compact 110 is pressurized in the second pressure molding machine 40, a high density (7.75 g / cm 3 ) corresponding to the vertical axis index 102 is obtained as shown by characteristic B (straight line) in FIG. Can be achieved. Details will be added in the description of the second pressure molding machine 40.

The heating temperature raising device 30 heats the mixed powder intermediate compressed body (intermediate green compact) 110 taken out from the first mold (lower mold 21) to set the temperature of the intermediate green compact 110 to the lubricant powder. This is a device that actively raises the temperature to the melting point equivalent temperature. In FIG. 2, the heating warmer 30 includes a hot air generation source (not shown), a blowing hood 31, an exhaust circulation hood 33, and the like, and supplies hot air to the intermediate green compact 110 positioned on the wire mesh holding member 32. It sprays and heats and raises the temperature to the melting | fusing point equivalent temperature (for example, 120 degreeC) of lubricant powder.

The technical significance of this low-temperature heat treatment will be described in relation to the first pressure molding treatment. When the mixed powder 100 filled in the lower mold 21 (cavity 22) is observed, the presence of the lubricant powder is relatively dense and dense in relation to the base metal powder. Part (dense part) is recognized. The dense portion can reduce the frictional resistance between the particles of the base metal powder and the frictional resistance between the base metal powder and the inner surface of the mold. The sparse part should increase the frictional resistance.

During pressurization by the first pressure molding machine 20, the dense portion has low friction, so that the compressibility is superior and the compression progresses easily. Since the sparse part has high friction, the compressibility is inferior and compression is delayed. In any case, a compression progression difficulty phenomenon occurs in accordance with a preset value of the first pressure P1. That is, a compression limit occurs. Under this condition, when the fracture surface of the intermediate green compact 110 taken out from the mold 21 is enlarged and observed, the base metal powder is pressed in an integral manner at the dense portion. However, lubricant powder is also mixed in. In the sparse part, a slight gap (space) remains between the pressed base metal powders. Almost no lubricant powder is found.

Thus, if the lubricant powder is removed from the dense part, a compressible gap is created. If the lubricant can be replenished in the gap between the sparse parts, the compressibility of the parts can be improved.

That is, the intermediate green compact 110 after the completion of the first pressure molding is heated to a temperature corresponding to the melting point of the lubricant powder (for example, 120 ° C.) to dissolve (liquefy) the lubricant powder. Increase fluidity. The lubricant that has melted out from the dense part soaks into the periphery and is replenished to the part that has been sparse. Therefore, the frictional resistance between the particles of the base metal powder can be reduced, and the space occupied by the lubricant powder can also be compressed. The frictional resistance between the base metal powder particles and the inner surface of the mold can also be reduced.

Next, the second pressure molding machine 40 applies a second pressure P2 to the heated intermediate green compact 110 set in the second mold (lower mold 41) to increase the density. This is an apparatus for forming the finished green compact 120.

In the present embodiment, a warm-up function for the second mold (lower mold 41) is provided. However, the temperature of the intermediate green compact 110 that has already been heated has a problem in molding by the time when the completed green compact molding starts when the second pressing force P2 is applied in the second mold (lower mold 41). If the temperature is within a certain temperature range, the high-density molding of the present invention can be performed without warming up the second mold.

However, when the heat capacity of the intermediate green compact 110 is small, when the transfer time to the second mold and the transfer path are long, the intermediate pressure that has been heated depends on the composition of the mixed powder, the form of the intermediate green compact 110, and the like. When there is a possibility that the temperature of the powder 110 is lowered before the completion of the green compact molding, it is possible to obtain a better molding effect by warming up the second mold (lower mold 41). A second warm-up device 47 described later is provided for this purpose.

Note that the maximum capacity (pressing force P) of the second pressure molding machine 40 in this embodiment is 10 Ton / cm 2 as in the case of the first pressure molding machine 20. Thus, the first pressure molding machine 20 and the second pressure molding machine 40 are configured as one press machine, and the upper molds 25 and 45 are moved up and down synchronously by the common slide 5 shown in FIG. . From this point, the apparatus economy is advantageous, and the manufacturing cost of the finished green compact 120 can be reduced.

In FIG. 2, the second mold apparatus includes a lower die (die) 41 on the bolster side and an upper die (punch) 45 on the slide 5 side. The cavity 42 of the lower mold 41 has a shape (annular cylindrical shape) corresponding to the shape (ring shape) of the finished green compact 120 at the lower portion, and a shape that is slightly larger at the upper portion to receive the intermediate green compact 110. It is said that. The upper mold 45 can be pushed into the lower mold 41 (cavity 42) and is moved up and down by the slide 5. A movable member 43 is fitted below the cavity 42 so as to be displaceable in the vertical direction. The second mold (lower mold 41) and the first mold (lower mold 21) correspond to the vertical dimension difference between the objects to be compressed (the intermediate green compact 110 and the finished green compact 120). Height (position) is adjusted.

The movable member 43 is displaced upward by a knockout pin (not shown) protruding through a through hole 44 provided below the ground level GL. That is, the finished green compact 120 in the second mold [lower mold 41 (cavity 42)] can be pushed up to the transfer level HL. When viewed from the outside, it functions as a second take-out device for taking out the finished green compact 120 in the second mold [lower die 41 (cavity 42)] to the outside (HL). In addition, you may form a 2nd extraction apparatus from another special apparatus. After the finished green compact 120 is discharged to the discharge chute 59 and receives a new intermediate green compact 110 from the heating temperature riser 30, the movable member 43 returns to the initial position together with the knockout pin.

The second mold (lower mold 41) is provided with a second warm-up device 47 capable of changing the set temperature. This second warming-up device 47 allows the second mold to reach the melting point equivalent temperature (for example, 120 ° C.) of the lubricant powder (zinc stearate) until the intermediate green compact 110 is received (set). Lower mold 41 (cavity 42)] is warmed (warmed up). The heated intermediate green compact 110 can be received without being cooled. As a result, the lubricating action can be ensured while preventing re-solidification of the previously dissolved (liquefied) lubricant. The second warm-up device 47 is an electric heating system (heater) in this embodiment, but it can also be implemented with a circulation-type heating device that warms up by circulating hot oil or hot water. it can.

In this sense, the second warming-up device 47 is capable of being heated until the finished green compact 120 is completed with pressure molding. In this way, the fluidity of the dissolved lubricant in all directions during pressure molding can be further improved, so that not only between the base metal particles but also the particles and the second mold [lower mold 41 (cavity 42)] The frictional resistance between the two can be greatly reduced and maintained.

In relation to this, in this embodiment, a warm-up function (not shown) for warming up the first mold (lower mold 21) is provided. However, the high-density molding of the present invention can be carried out without warming up the first mold (lower mold 21) and preheating the intermediate green compact 110 before the heating and heating step.

However, when the composition of the mixed powder and the form of the intermediate green compact 110 are specific, when the heat capacity of the intermediate green compact 110 is large, when the large heating heating device 30 is not provided, or the working environment temperature is low. In such a case, there is a risk of spending a long time for heating and heating the intermediate green compact 110. In such a case, it is preferable to warm up the first mold (lower mold 21). Therefore, in this embodiment, the first mold is warmed up.

In other words, the first mold [lower mold 21 (cavity 22)] is also provided with a first warm-up device (not shown) capable of changing the set temperature, and the heating temperature is increased after the molding of the intermediate green compact 110 is completed. Prior to delivery to the machine 30, the first mold (lower mold 21) is warmed up so that the lubricant powder can be preheated. By doing so, the heating temperature raising time can be reduced and the production cycle can be shortened.

The relationship between the pressing force P (second pressing force P2) in the second pressure molding machine 40 and the density ρ of the finished green compact 120 obtained correspondingly will be described with reference to FIG.

The density ρ obtained by the second pressure molding machine 40 follows the characteristic B. That is, unlike the case of the first pressure molding machine 20 (characteristic A), the density ρ does not gradually increase as the second pressure P2 is increased. That is, the density ρ does not increase until the final first pressure P1 (for example, the horizontal axis index 75 or 85) in the first pressure molding step is exceeded. When the second pressure P2 exceeds the final first pressure P1, the density ρ increases at a stretch. It is understood that the second pressure molding is performed as if the first pressure molding was continuously taken over.

Thus, in the first pressure molding step, it is not necessary to perform an operation in which the first pressure P1 is increased to a value (horizontal axis index 100) corresponding to the maximum capacity at any time. That is, it is possible to eliminate energy consumption for a useless time when the first pressure molding is continued after the compression limit. This leads to reduced manufacturing costs. Moreover, since it becomes easy to avoid the overload operation exceeding the horizontal axis index 100, there is no fear of die damage. Overall, handling is easy and safe and stable operation is possible.

The workpiece transfer device 50 moves the intermediate green compact 110 taken out from the first mold (lower die 21) by the first take-out device (movable member 23, through hole 24) to a predetermined position in the heating warmer 30. The intermediate green compact 110 after the temperature rise can be transferred from the heating temperature riser 30 to the second mold (lower mold 41), and the second take-out device (movable member 43, through hole 44). Thus, the finished green compact 120 taken out from the second mold is discharged to the outside of the high-density molding apparatus 1, for example, a discharge shooter 59 so as to be transportable. The workpiece transfer device 50 includes the first pressure molding machine 20 to the heating temperature raising machine 30, the heating temperature raising machine 30 to the second pressure molding machine 40, and the second pressure molding machine. The workpiece can be reliably transferred between 40 and the discharge shooter 59.

The workpiece transfer apparatus 50 according to this embodiment includes three feed bars 51, 52, and 53 that are operated synchronously as shown in FIG. 3B. The feed bars 51, 52, and 53 are advanced from the depth side of the sheet of FIG. 3A to the transfer line of FIG. 3B, and moved back from the left to the right, and then retreat to their original positions. The set device (feed bar 52, movable member 43, and through hole 44) is a second mold [lower side in which the mixed powder intermediate compressed body (intermediate green compact 110) that has been heated is warmed to the melting point equivalent temperature [lower Mold 41 (cavity 42)].

The workpiece transfer device may include a finger or the like driven in a two-dimensional or three-dimensional direction, and may be formed from a transfer device that sequentially transfers the workpiece to each mold.

By the way, it should be noted that the compression characteristics are unique with regard to the introduction of a technique for actively liquefying a lubricant in an intermediate process. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the compression of the intermediate green compact 110 performed by applying the first pressure P1 under the granular lubricant follows a characteristic A that rises sharply and then slows down. On the other hand, the compression of the finished green compact 120 applied with the second pressing force P2 under the liquid lubricant rises rapidly (at once) when the first pressing force P1 is exceeded, and then follows the characteristic B that remains constant thereafter.

Here, there are important technical matters. In order to shorten the overall production cycle of the intermediate green compact forming process (PR2) and the finished green compact forming process (PR5), the intermediate green compact forming process (PR2) according to the characteristic A which is slow after abrupt There is an idea that the true density ratio is increased to a certain level and then is rapidly transferred to the finished green compact forming process (PR5) according to a certain characteristic B. According to this concept, if the molding time at the slow characteristic is long, as a result, there may be regret that wasted time was spent. Moreover, there is a possibility of causing a situation where the mold is broken.

On the other hand, paying attention to the steep characteristics of the post-steep and slow characteristics A and the rapid characteristics B after the takeover, even if the true density ratio in the intermediate green compact molding process (PR2) is kept low, the process is terminated immediately. There is an idea that it is desired to immediately take over the finished green compact forming process (PR5). According to this idea, it seems that the dead time can be minimized.

However, these unique characteristics A and B have a lack of recognition among those skilled in the art. Moreover, it can be said that in the actual manufacturing, the selection setting of the timing at which the characteristic A can be transferred from the characteristic A to the characteristic B belongs to the operator's exclusive and arbitrary work. Therefore, there is a case where the switching timing is selected early because the intermediate compacting process (PR2) is desired to be completed rapidly. That is, when the degree of compression is moderately advanced and selection is made to immediately shift to finished green compact molding, the following problem may occur in the finished green compact molding step (PR5).

That is, when the compression ratio (density ratio) of the intermediate green compact 110 is low, the compression ratio in the finished green compact forming process (PR5) has to be relatively increased. This means that the slide lowering stroke required for the finished green compact becomes larger. Then, the amount of vertical relative movement (pressure contact sliding distance) between the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate green compact 110 and the inner wall surface of the cavity 42 of the second mold increases by an amount corresponding to the expansion of the slide stroke. In proportion to the increase in the amount of relative movement, the frictional resistance between the two rapidly increases. That is, there is a risk of not only incurring an overload state but also damage to the mold.

According to the applicant's many practical research studies, the type of base metal powder, the type and amount of lubricant, and the radial gap when the second mold (lower mold 41) and the intermediate green compact 110 are loaded and set. Trial was performed taking into account parameters such as the value of. As a result, when the maximum density of the mixed powder intermediate compression body (intermediate green compact 110) that can be formed by applying the first pressure P1 is 100%, the first mold (lower mold 21) is used. It was verified that the problem does not occur if the first applied pressure P1 is applied to the mixed powder and the density ratio is compressed to 85% or more.

That is, apart from the fact that the sweating phenomenon can be expressed up to a density ratio of 80%, in order to avoid an overload state or a mold breakage during the second pressure molding process, the first pressure molding process is performed. Should not be selected for early timing switching that terminates at a density ratio of less than 85%. If the density ratio is 85% or more, the problem does not occur. However, from the viewpoint of avoiding damage to the mold, the upper limit side is preferably set to a density ratio of 96% or less. Since the density ratio of 96% is not a limit value but a boundary value, it may be selected as less than 100%. In any case, the intermediate green compact 110 with a density ratio of less than 85% should not be delivered to the second pressure forming process.

In the mixed powder high-density molding apparatus according to this embodiment, the high-density molding method is carried out by the following steps.

(Procurement of mixed powder)
A mixed powder 100 in a smooth state is procured by mixing a base metal powder (iron powder coated with a glassy insulating coating for magnetic core) and 0.2 wt% lubricant powder (zinc stearate powder). A predetermined amount is supplied to the mixed powder feeder 10 (step PR0 in FIG. 1).

(Mixed powder filling)
At a predetermined timing, the mixed powder supplier 10 is moved from a predetermined position (solid line) to a replenishment position (broken line) as shown in FIG. 3B. Next, the supply port of the mixed powder supplier 10 is opened, and a fixed amount of the mixed powder 100 is filled into the empty lower mold 21 (cavity 22) of the first pressure molding machine 20 (step PR1 in FIG. 1). . For example, it can be filled in 2 seconds. After the filling, the supply port is closed, and the mixed powder supply machine 10 returns to a predetermined position (solid line).

(Molding green compact)
The first press molding in which the upper mold 25 of the first press molding machine 20 descends together with the slide 5 of FIG. 2 and pressurizes the mixed powder 100 in the lower mold 21 (cavity 22) with the first pressure P1. Processing begins. Solid lubricants provide sufficient lubrication. The density ρ of the compressed intermediate green compact 110 increases according to the characteristic A in FIG. In this embodiment, when the first pressure P1 reaches a pressure (3.0 Ton / cm 2 ) corresponding to the horizontal axis index (for example, 30), the first pressure forming process is terminated. The horizontal axis index 30 corresponds to a true density ratio of 85%, and the density ρ has increased to 6.63 g / cm 3 (corresponding to the vertical axis index 87). For example, when the pressure molding for 8 seconds is completed, the intermediate green compact 110 is molded in the mold (lower mold 21) as shown in FIG. 3A (step PR2 in FIG. 1). Thereafter, the upper die 25 is raised by the slide 5. In the second pressure molding machine 40, the second pressure molding process relating to the intermediate green compact 110 is performed in synchronization.

(Intermediate green powder removal)
The first take-out device (movable member 23) is activated, and the intermediate green compact 110 is pushed up to the transfer level HL. That is, it is taken out from the lower mold 21. Then, as shown in FIG. 3B, the workpiece transfer device 50 operates, and the intermediate green compact 110 is transferred toward the heating temperature raising device 30 by the feed bar 51. At this stage, the movable member 23 is returned to the initial position below. The intermediate green compact 110 after being transferred is positioned on the wire mesh holding member 32 as shown in FIG. 3A.

(Heating temperature)
In FIG. 3A, the heating warmer 30 is activated. Hot air is blown from the blowing hood 31 and the intermediate green compact 110 is heated to a melting point equivalent temperature (for example, 120 ° C.) of the lubricant powder (step PR3 in FIG. 1). That is, the lubricant is dissolved, and the lubricant distribution in the intermediate green compact 110 is uniformly modified by the flow of the lubricant. The heating temperature raising time is, for example, 8 to 10 seconds. The hot air is recirculated through the wire mesh holding member 32 and the exhaust circulation hood 33.

(Set of heated green compacts)
As shown in FIG. 3B, the heated intermediate green compact 110 is transferred to the second pressure molding machine 40 by the work transfer device 50 (feed bar 52), and positioned above the lower mold 41. It is set on the movable member 43 in the lower mold 41 (cavity 42) (step PR4 in FIG. 1).

(Mold warm-up)
In the second pressure molding machine 40, when activation is selected, the second warm-up device 47 works. Before receiving (setting) the intermediate green compact 110, the mold [lower mold 41 (cavity 42)] is warmed to the melting point equivalent temperature (120 ° C.) of the lubricant powder. Thereafter, re-solidification of the lubricant in the heated intermediate green compact 110 received can be prevented.

(Completion of finished green compact)
The upper mold 45 together with the slide 5 of FIG. 2 descends as shown in FIG. 3A and starts to press the intermediate green compact 110 in the lower mold 41 (cavity 42) with the second pressure P2. Liquid lubricant provides sufficient lubrication. The density ρ of the compressed intermediate green compact 110 increases according to the characteristic B in FIG. That is, when the second applied pressure P2 exceeds the horizontal axis index (for example, 30... Applied pressure 3.0 Ton / cm 2 ), the density ρ corresponding to the true density ratio 85% suddenly increases from 6.63 g / cm 3. The density ρ (7.75 g / cm 3 ) corresponding to the vertical index 102 is increased. When the second applied pressure P2 is increased to an abscissa index of 100 (10 Ton / cm 2 ), the density ρ (7.75 g / cm 3 ) becomes uniform as a whole. Since the necessary slide stroke (relative movement amount) at this time is short, there is no possibility of an overload state or damage to the mold. In addition, since the sweating phenomenon in which the lubricant flows out in all directions with the progress of the pressure molding occurs, the frictional resistance force between the particles and the mold as well as between the base metal particles can be efficiently reduced. For example, when the second pressure molding process for 8 seconds is completed, the finished green compact 120 is molded in the second mold (lower mold 41) (step PR5 in FIG. 1). Thereafter, the upper mold 45 is raised by the slide 5. In the first pressure molding machine 20, the first pressure molding process for the subsequent intermediate green compact 110 is performed in synchronization.

(Product removal)
The second take-out device (movable member 43) works, and the finished green compact 120 is pushed up to the transfer level HL. That is, it is taken out from the lower mold 41. Then, as shown in FIG. 3B, the workpiece transfer device 50 operates, and the finished green compact 120 is transferred toward the discharge shooter 59 by the transfer bar 53. At this stage, the movable member 43 is returned to the initial position below. In the finished green compact 120 having a density ρ (7.75 g / cm 3 ) corresponding to the ordinate index 102, the vitreous material does not change or melt because the lubricant powder has a low melting point. Therefore, it is understood that a high-quality magnetic core green compact with low eddy current loss and high magnetic flux density can be efficiently manufactured.

(Manufacturing cycle)
According to the high-density molding method according to the above steps, the first pressure molding process, the heating temperature raising process, and the second pressure molding process for the metal powder (mixed powder 100) supplied and filled in order are synchronized. Since it can be executed, a high-density green compact (finished green compact 120) is obtained in a cycle time of 12 to 14 seconds obtained by adding a workpiece transfer time (for example, 2 to 4 seconds) to the longest heating temperature raising processing time (for example, 10 seconds). ) Can be manufactured. It is understood that the production / production time can be drastically improved in comparison with only the high temperature sintering process time of 30 minutes or more in the conventional example. For example, it is possible to stabilize the supply of small and light complex parts with high mechanical strength for automobile parts and electromagnetic equipment parts with excellent magnetic properties and mechanical strength, which can greatly contribute to the reduction of production costs.

Thus, according to this embodiment, the mixed powder 100 in which the low melting point lubricant powder is mixed with the base metal powder is filled in the first mold (lower mold 21), and the first pressure P1 is applied. When the maximum density of the intermediate green compact that can be molded is 100%, the intermediate green compact 110 having a density ratio of 85 to 96% by applying the first pressure P1 to the mixed powder in the first mold. The intermediate green compact 110 is heated to actively raise the temperature to the melting point equivalent temperature of the lubricant powder (for example, 120 ° C.). This is a high density molding method in which the finished green compact 120 is molded by setting the lower mold 41) and applying the second pressure P2 in the second mold (lower mold 41). Can be manufactured reliably and stably, and the manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced. In addition, the shortening of the actual manufacturing cycle can be promoted while ensuring the safety of the equipment (mold or the like).

In addition, since the sintering process for a long time at a high temperature can be eliminated, not only the oxidation of the green compacts 110 and 120 can be greatly suppressed, but also energy consumption can be minimized and manufacturing costs can be greatly reduced. Also welcomed for global environmental conservation.

Further, since the melting point of the lubricant powder is a low melting point within the temperature range of 90 to 190 ° C., the selectivity of the lubricant can be expanded while promoting the suppression of oxidation.

Further, since the second mold (lower mold 41) is warmed up by the second warm-up device 47, the fluidity of the dissolved lubricant in all directions during the second pressure molding can be further enhanced. That is, it is possible to greatly reduce and maintain the frictional resistance force between not only the base metal particles but also the particles and the second mold (lower mold 41).

In addition, since the second pressing force P2 can be set to a value equal to the first pressing force P1, it is easy to carry out and handle the pressure forming step, and indirectly increase the manufacturing cost of the green compact. In addition to contributing to the reduction, the apparatus can be easily constructed based on, for example, a single press machine.

In addition, even if the base metal powder is changed from the vitreous insulating coating coated iron powder for the magnetic core to any of the iron-based amorphous powder for the magnetic core and the Fe-Si alloy powder for the magnetic core, Magnetic core parts having excellent magnetic properties corresponding to types can be manufactured efficiently and stably.

In consideration, the capacity of a conventional apparatus (for example, a press machine) (the horizontal axis index 100 in FIG. 4) could not be increased beyond the density corresponding to the vertical axis index 100, according to the present invention. For example, it is possible to increase the density corresponding to the vertical index 102 with the same apparatus. This fact is commended as a breakthrough in the art.

Furthermore, since the high-density molding apparatus 1 is composed of the mixed powder supply machine 10, the first pressure molding machine 20, the heating temperature riser 30, and the second pressure molding machine 40, the above-described high density Can be carried out reliably and stably.

(Second Embodiment)
This embodiment is illustrated in FIG. Compared to the case of the first embodiment, the mixed powder feeder 10 and the first pressure molding machine 20 are left as they are, and the heating temperature riser 30 and the second pressure molding machine 40 are integrated. It is formed.

That is, the high-density molding apparatus is formed from a heating and pressing molding machine 70 in which these functions are integrally incorporated in the heating temperature riser 30 and the second pressing molding machine 40 in the case of the first embodiment. ing. The heat-pressure molding machine 70 is formed from a plurality of (two in this embodiment) heat-pressure molding child machines 70A, 70B, and each of the heat-pressure molding child machines 70A, 70B is manufactured by a control device (not shown). It is possible to select and operate sequentially for each cycle.

Each of the heat and pressure molding child machines 70A and 70B has a basic structure equivalent to the second pressure molding machine 40 in the first embodiment. In addition, each of the heating and pressure molding child machines 70A and 70B has a composite function type having a composite function corresponding to each function of the heating warmer 30 and the second warm-up device 47 in the case of the first embodiment. A heating device 48 is provided.

That is, the multi-function heating device 48 is an electric heating system having a set temperature switching function. In advance (before receiving the intermediate green compact 110), the lower mold 41 can be warmed up to a temperature corresponding to the melting point of the lubricant (for example, 120 ° C.). After receiving the intermediate green compact 110, the calorific value is largely switched so that the entire intermediate green compact 110 can be heated to a temperature corresponding to the melting point of the lubricant (for example, 120 ° C.). It is also possible to selectively switch the heating part. After the heating temperature rise, the same second heat forming process as that of the second pressure molding machine 40 in the first embodiment is performed. The multi-function heating device 48 functions so that the temperature of the intermediate green compact 110 can be maintained at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the lubricant (for example, 120 ° C.) during the second thermoforming process.

As shown in FIG. 6, each heating and pressing child machine 20, 70 </ b> A, 70 </ b> B has an independent press machine structure, and each slide 5, 5 </ b> A, 5 </ b> B is driven up and down by rotation control of each machine motor. . That is, when one (the other) of each of the heating and pressing child machines 70A and 70B performs a pressure molding operation, the other (one) is preheated and does not perform the pressure molding operation. The same applies to the case where the hot press molding machine 70 is formed from three or more hot press molding slaves in relation to the manufacturing cycle time.

In the apparatus according to this embodiment, the first pressure molding machine 20 is press-molding the third intermediate green compact 110, while the one heat-pressure molding machine 70A (or the heat-pressure molding machine). 70B), the second intermediate green compact 110 is heated and heated, and the first intermediate green compact 110 is completed by the other heating press molding machine 70B (or the heating and press molding machine 70A). Pressure molding is in progress to form powder 120.

Therefore, according to this embodiment, the heating and pressing molding machine 70 may be constructed from a plurality of heating and pressing molding machines 70A and 70B having the same structure, which is compared with the case of the first embodiment. This simplifies the device. Simplification of the production line can be promoted, and handling becomes easier.

The first pressure molding machine 20 and the heating and pressure molding machine 70A (or the heating and pressure molding machine 70B) or the first pressure molding machine 20 and each of the heating and pressure molding machines 70A and 70B. It is also possible to construct as a single press machine structure.
