Description
The present invention relates to a cover for a pouch that is attached to a stoma and stores feces and urine excreted from an artificial anus or an artificial bladder, and more particularly, a cover that can be easily attached and detached and can also fix pouches of different sizes. In addition, the present invention relates to a pouch cover that can effectively deodorize manure odor emitted from stoma and pouch and can maintain the deodorizing effect even after repeated washing.
The stoma is a drainage hole built in the abdominal wall for draining manure out of the body by surgery when the anus or bladder no longer plays a role as an outlet due to treatment such as bowel obstruction or cancer. Gastrointestinal stoma and urinary tract stoma are known. A stoma wearer wears a pouch outside through a stoma, and discharges manure collected in the pouch with a toilet or the like to perform daily life.
Since this pouch is always worn, the odor of manure emitted from the pouch has been a problem.
In order to improve these problems, JU62-99219A discloses a paper, non-woven fabric, and vinyl impregnated with a deodorizing agent formed in a cylindrical shape so as to cover a stoma appliance.
Further, JP10-33579A includes a retaining portion that is wound around and fixed to the waist of a human body, and a suspension portion provided on the retention portion, and the suspension portion is capable of inserting a pouch connection portion. And a bag-like portion for storing the pouch in the vicinity of the insertion opening, and a canopy portion for shielding the insertion opening and the bag-like portion are disclosed.
[Object of invention]
However, the stoma device cover described in JU62-99219A has a structure in which a part of the upper part of the pouch is exposed and the lower end part is opened, so that the deodorizing performance of the cover is not sufficient. . In addition, since the upper part of the cover is attached to the upper part of the pouch with an adhesive, there is a problem in the durability of the adhesive, and it may be difficult to use the cover repeatedly. .
Further, the cover of the stoma device described in JP10-33579A seems to have a bag-like portion stably holding the pouch. However, excrement accumulates in the pouch, and when the excrement is discarded from the pouch, the pouch is taken out from the bag-like portion by lifting the lower end of the pouch. When this happens, the pouch is bent near the center, so that the excrement may flow due to the deformation, and the excrement may leak from the discharge port with momentum. Moreover, since the pouch in which the excrement has accumulated is heavy and gas has accumulated, it is difficult to take out from the bag-like portion. Therefore, since it is difficult to throw away the excrement from the pouch, the wearer refrains from going out or cannot engage in work, and the range of activities becomes narrow.
An object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art described above. More specifically, even for pouches of different sizes, the length of the pouch cover is adjusted by bending the pouch cover according to the size of the pouch so that the exposed portion of the pouch can be enclosed less. The pouch can be easily inserted, and even when manure accumulates in the pouch, it can be easily discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the pouch, and can effectively deodorize manure odor generated from the pouch. To provide a cover.

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a stoma pouch, and FIG. 2 is a schematic view for explaining a cover of the stoma pouch according to the present invention, and is a rear schematic view seen from the body surface side. FIG. 3 is a schematic front view seen from the surface opposite to the body.
First, after explaining the stoma pouch based on FIG. 1, the stoma pouch cover of the present invention will be described more specifically.
The
The connection method of the stoma and the pouch has an adhesive tape as well as a flange.
The pouch is preferably provided with a ventilation portion (not shown) for discharging the gas accumulated in the pouch at a position higher than the stoma connection site. The position of the ventilation portion differs depending on the manufacturer, but is set to be above the connection opening in a state where the pouch is normally used. This is because the filter of the ventilation part is easily contaminated with excrement when it is located at a position facing the connection opening or below the opening.
Usually, in the state of use, the discharge port is sealed in the discharge part using a stopper or the like. The stopper can prevent the excretion from flowing out from the discharge port so as to sandwich the discharge part of the pouch.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The diameter of the connection opening is appropriately set according to the diameter of the bonded portion of the stoma.
In order to cover the
When replacing the pouch, disengage the engaging part at the bottom of the pouch cover, drain the manure inside the pouch, remove the pouch covered with the pouch cover from the joint with the stoma, and open the terminal opening at the bottom of the pouch cover After taking out the pouch from the part (pouch insertion part) 6 and inserting a new pouch from the end opening part (pouch insertion part) 6, the pouch stoma connection part is arranged in the opening part of the pouch cover, and the opening has a flange. In the exposed state, the engaging portion at the lower end of the cover is joined to fix the pouch.
As shown in FIG. 3, the pouch cover of the present invention is formed by laminating the front and back fabrics, the right and left end portions of the back fabric A8 and the back fabric B9 and sewing them. It is preferable to have a pouch-
According to the pouch cover of the present invention, according to the length of the pouch, the extended portion of the front fabric is folded back to the back fabric side, or the extended portion of the back fabric is folded back to the front fabric side, and the both fabrics are engaged. Members can be joined together. The length of the pouch refers to the length from the upper end of the pouch to the end of the discharge portion at the lower end.
Thereby, since a pouch can be enclosed, effective deodorizing property can be expressed. Moreover, manure in the pouch is not exposed to the human eye from the outside.
In addition, the pouch cover comes into contact with the abdomen of the human body, and the pouch is located outside of the pouch, so there is no stuffiness or contact dermatitis caused by the synthetic resin film that makes up the pouch being in direct contact with the skin. Occurrence is also reduced.
In this embodiment, the cover is formed of a fabric having a deodorizing action. Furthermore, zeolite is preferable as the inorganic porous crystal.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the deodorizing substance is applied to the inorganic porous crystal and the cellulosic fiber together with the binder resin.
By using such a configuration, the deodorizing effect can be maintained even after repeated washing.
Moreover, it is preferable that the edge of the fabric which comprises a cover is edged in the cover inner side direction. By using such a configuration, the fabric can be prevented from being fluttered, so that the durability of the cover is improved.
As described above, since the pouch cover of the present invention covers the pouch effectively as a whole, it is possible to deodorize bad odors throughout the cover. Further, since the pouch cover has air permeability, bad odors are deodorized when passing through the base material, and the deodorizing effect is great, and the touch is also improved.
