Abstract
Description
本発明は、電解質膜と、電解質膜の一方の面に配置されたアノード触媒層と、電解質膜の他方の面に配置されたカソード触媒層とを有する膜電極構造体を少なくとも備える積層体、及び、該積層体を狭持する一対のセパレータを具備し、該一対のセパレータのうち、少なくとも一方のセパレータの積層体側の面に、積層体へと供給される反応ガスが流通する流入流路、及び、積層体を通過した反応ガスが流通する流出流路が備えられ、流入流路は積層体へと供給される反応ガスの下流端が閉塞され、かつ、流出流路は積層体を通過した反応ガスの上流端が閉塞され、流入流路及び流出流路は、セパレータにおいて互いに分離して配置され、流入流路の上流側領域の深さが、該流入流路の下流側領域の深さよりも深いことを特徴とする、燃料電池である。

Claims (3)
- 電解質膜と、前記電解質膜の一方の面に配置されたアノード触媒層と、前記電解質膜の他方の面に配置されたカソード触媒層とを有する膜電極構造体、を少なくとも備える積層体、及び、該積層体を狭持する一対のセパレータを具備し、
前記一対のセパレータのうち、少なくとも一方のセパレータの前記積層体側の面に、前記積層体へと供給される反応ガスが流通する流入流路、及び、前記積層体を通過した反応ガスが流通する流出流路が備えられ、
前記流入流路は前記積層体へと供給される前記反応ガスの下流端が閉塞され、かつ、前記流出流路は前記積層体を通過した前記反応ガスの上流端が閉塞され、
前記流入流路及び前記流出流路は、前記セパレータにおいて互いに分離して配置され、
前記流入流路の上流側領域の深さが、該流入流路の下流側領域の深さよりも深いことを特徴とする、燃料電池。 - さらに、前記流入流路及び前記流出流路が備えられる前記セパレータにおける前記流出流路の下流側領域の深さが、該流出流路の上流側領域の深さよりも深いことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記一方のセパレータが前記カソード触媒層側に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項又は第2項に記載の燃料電池。
