Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a film for silver vapor-deposited tinsel excellent in sulfur resistance and oxidation resistance by forming a silver vapor-deposited layer onto the surface of a resin film and shaping a protective layer, to which a corrosion inhibitor mainly comprising a volatile corrosion inhibitor is mixed and dispersed, onto the surface of the silver deposited layer. CONSTITUTION:A silver deposited layer 2 is shaped onto at least one surface of a synthetic resin film 1 through a vacuum deposition method directly or through an undercoating layer. A protective layer 3, at least one layer of which is formed by mixing and dispersing a corrosion inhibitor mainly comprising a volatile corrosion inhibitor, is shaped onto the surface of the silver evaporated layer 2. Consequently, the volatile corrosion inhibitor in the protective layer 3 is evaporated gradually, and the evaporated gas is reacted with the silver deposited surface 2, thus shaping an atmosphere inhibiting the corrosion of a metal. Accordingly, the silver diposited layer 2 is not brought into contact and exposed directly to the outside air, thus preventing the generation of discoloration.
