Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a distribution container for a long article capable of drawing out a necessary amount of the long article and cutting the same before use, by dividing a flat cylindrical container into the first and second side walls by two inner fold lines and providing a guide groove to one side wall at the upper end of the container to provide a cutting blade in said guide groove. CONSTITUTION:A side surface member 1 composed of cardboard is divided into two equal parts by two inner fold lines 2, 3 to form the first and second side walls 4, 5 and a draw-out port 7 is a hole for drawing out a packed long article 6 from one end thereof and provided to the first side wall 4 while a guide groove 8 is provided to the side surface member 1 of the second side wall 5 from the end part thereof at a right angle and a cutting blade 9 is fixed to the inside of said groove 8. The long article drawn out from the outside of the first side wall 4 of the side surface member to the guide groove of the second side wall 5 and inserted in the guide groove 8 to be cut by the cutting blade 9 provided in the guide groove 8 A notch 12 allows the article to be cut to be vertically brought into contact with the cutting blade and enhances the cutting quality. Therefore, a safe container for a wound long article, from which a necessary amount of the long article is drawn out to be cut as it is, is obtained.
