Abstract

PURPOSE:To preclude malfunction due to a high-voltage noise by mounting a high-voltage power source in a hollow rotary body. CONSTITUTION:The high-voltage power source 23 is provided in the hollow transfer drum which has a fixed shaft 8. Further, recessed parts 26 are formed in the outer periphery of the high voltage power source 23 at the position corre sponding to a transfer charger 17, an electrostatic charger 18 for separation discharging, and a charger 19 for discharging, and U-shaped guides 27 are fixed in the recessed parts 26. Then leaf springs 29 provided between the guides 27 and soldiers contact the sliders of the corona discharger, i.e., casings 17a to connect the guides 27 to the fixed shaft 8, so that they are grounded to the earth of the machine. Consequently, a logic circuit never malfunctions owing to a high-voltage noise and its stable operation is secure.
