Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve an accurate and quick measurement of a desired material, by performing a decision on a measured value based on a center position and a peak position of a half-value width of an output waveform current to accomplish an instantaneous judgement on whether measurement is within a proper density area or not. CONSTITUTION:An enzyme electrode for detection of glucose is incorporated into a measuring device and an enzyme electrode measuring section 1 has a reference electrode mounted on a cell with the enzyme electrode as working pole. The measuring section 1 is connected to an injector 2 for a fast liquid chromatography and a sodium phosphate buffer 4 is fed with a constant amount pump 3. Then, a sample containing glucose is injected from the injector 2 and a voltage is applied to the working pole to perform a measurement. Then, a relationship is determined between a peak current value and the concentration of glucose by a computation with a microcomputer 9. Thus, in a curve wherein a value obtained by subtraction of a peak position from a center position of a half-value width shifts to minus from plus, a proper measurement is enabled in a plus range while disabling that in a range of zero to minus.
