Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure temperatures at many temperature measuring points in a cabinet simultaneously in a short time, by attaching heat pipes to the front panel of an electronic-part apparatus, and photographing the exposed end parts of the heat pipes with an infrared-ray temperature measuring device. CONSTITUTION:Heat pipes 20 are inserted into inserting holes 3a of a front panel 3 of an electronic-part apparatus. A black measuring end part 20A of the pipe 20 is located at the front side, and a temperature sensing part 20B is located in the inside. Thus a front panel device 30 is formed. When the temperature sensing part 20B of the heat pipe 20 is warmed to high temperature, the pipe is thermally balanced by the transmission and reception of heat in the liquid in the pipe. Therefore, the temperature difference is hardly present between the measuring end part 20A and the temperature sensing part 20B. The measuring end part 20A is photographed by using an infrared-ray temperature measuring device 25, and the image is displayed. A cooling means is operated as required. Therefore, tooling work is hardly required. The temperatures at many temperature measuring points can be simultaneously measured in a short time.
