Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the prevention of useless digging and the like and to make in possible to perform highly efficient working, by processing the output signals form turning angle sensors and a sonar sensor of an excavator, and displaying the terrain of a surface to be excavated and the excavating locus at the same time. CONSTITUTION:On a turning body 6, a boom angle sensor 14, an arm angle sensor 15 and a bucket angle sensor 16 are mounted. A turning degree detector 17 is arranged at the center of the turning body. A sonar sensor 18, which detects the terrain of a sea bottom 2 with ultrasonic waves, is arranged on a working barge 5. The outputs of the sensors 13-18 are inputted into a specified information processing device. The position of the blade tip of a bucket 9 is operated by a well known operation expression. The locus of the blade tip and the terrain of the excavating surface from the sonar sensor 18 are displayed on a CRT at the same time. Therefore, useless digging, excessive digging, insufficient digging and the like can be positively prevented. Thus the highly efficient working can be performed.
