Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a deterioration in performance by a method wherein a cooling device for refrigerant liquid is arranged in the midway of a refrigerant liquid passage ranging from a condenser to an evaporator and further this cooling device is arranged at an output side of air flow at the evaporator. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device CR2 arranged within an air flow at an output side of an evaporator E decreases a temperature level of the refrigerant liquid flowing into a heat transfer pipe ET of the evaporator E and further decreases a saturated vapor pressure of the refrigerant to a value near the inner pressure of the evaporator E. Owing to this fact, a severe flashing accompanied by a self-evaporation of the refrigerant liquid within the heat transfer pipe ET is released or flashing is scarcely produced. With such an arrangement as above, an amount of liquid droplets dropped within the heat transfer pipe ET while the refrigerant is not evaporated is substantially decreased and concurrently unevenness of liquid film formed along the inner wall surface of the heat transfer pipe is also reduced. As a result, there may be provided an effect of reducing the performance of the evaporator E and subsequently an effect of reducing the performance of an absorbing freezer.
