Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect an obstacle for a working vehicle accurately by previously providing a reference color to objects to be detected and taking a color photography of a predetermined dangerous area then judging whether an area of reference color larger than a predetermined level exists in the dangerous area. CONSTITUTION:Objects to be detected, particularly workers, 10 are previously applied with helmets 12 or work suits 14 of reference color. A color photography means 7 having a view in the dangerous area is arranged on a working vehicle 11. An object, i.e. a worker, 10 having reference color is detected through a color judging means 2 based on an image taken through the color photography means 7. An area judging means 4 detects an area larger than a predetermined level concerning to the object 10 having reference color. An area judging means 6 detects a predetermined dangerous area. Then an alarm is fed to the worker 10 or the working vehicle 11 is stopped automatically corresponding to a signal detected through an AND gate 8.
