Abstract

PURPOSE:To tighten the safety of supervising passengers by providing a means, which detects a vehicle to advance running in an abnormal speed adjacent to the side of a platform, and, in the time of detecting the vehicle, generating an alarm to the passengers present on the platform in its position to the vehicle passing. CONSTITUTION:A passenger, being present on a platform in a position to a vehicle passing, is detected by passenger detectors 21-23, while a speed of the vehicle 1, advancing adjacent to a side of the platform, is detected by train detectors 11-13 and a speed arithmetic circuit. Here the vehicle speed, when it is detected to be in an abnormal speed increasing to the reference speed or more, causes an abnormal-speed detector to be driven. In this case, when the passenger is detected to be present on the platform in a position to the vehicle passing by the passenger detectors 21-23, an alarm is generated from alarm devices 21, 32. Thus enabling the safety of passengers on the platform to be surely and promptly ensured with no necessity for performing work through labor, a safety supervisory device can be easily applied even to a one- man train.
