Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the title method to thin a thickness of a core body and molding cylinder as pressure to be applied to the core body and molding cylinder is reduced even if rubber is expanded, by a method wherein heating/curing of a rubber part are performed after a gap has been provided between the molding cylinder and a sleeve by exchanging the molding cylinder which has been used by a filling process with a molding cylinder whose inside diameter is a little larger than that of the former one. CONSTITUTION:After filling of rubber a mold is removed from a stationary frame 7 by slackening a press screw 8, a molding cylinder 5 is exchanged with a molding cylinder 5' and the mold is combined again to a stationary frame 7 for setting up. Size of the inside diameter of the molding cylinder 5' is made into that of the molding cylinder 5 by enlarging by maximum 1.2% than that of the molding cylinder 5' and the same is made into a smaller size than the outside diameter of a rubber part 13 of a rubber roll 1 obtained through thermal expansion through heating. Then though filling rubber is cured by heating at about 200 deg.C, amount of thermal expansion of the rubber part 13 is fled to a gap part between the molding cylinder 5' and a sleeve 12 for cure. As only a very little pressure is applied to a core body 11 and the molding cylinder 5' and a thickness of the molding cylinder 5' is thin, the coefficient of thermal expansion to the rubber becomes favorable and heating/curing processing time are shortened.
