Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion between master and slave media by superimposing the magnetic surface of the master and slave media opposite, regulating the outer circumference with the outer circumferential regulating member and escaping the air between both media from an air vent hole provided at a regulating member. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk, which becomes a slave medium 3, is placed onto the same diameter disk-shaped master medium 2 and the same master medium 1 is mounted onto it. The media 1-3 are press-bonded and fixed to an outer circumferential regulating member 4 by press-bonding rings 11 and 12. The residual air between master media 1 and 2 and a slave medium 3 is escaped from an air vent hole 8 provided on an inner side wall 6a of the member 4 to a hollow part 7 to the inside of a ring part 6 and discharged from an outer side wall part 9 through an air suction duct 10 to the external part. Next, by adding a bias magnetic field for transfer to the media 1-3 with bias magnetic field generating coils 13 and 14, the information recorded at the media 1 and 2 is transferred to both surfaces of a disk 2.
