Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an extending system for disk reproducing device by setting its own disk exchanging mechanism and a disk reproducing part under the workable states via each disk reproducing device in the case where the coincidence is obtained between the device number received from a master device and that allocated to its own device after plural disk reproducing devices are connected in a loop form. CONSTITUTION:In case a master device 51 designates the identification number of an extended device 55 as an extended device identification number 91, the control signal received from the device 51 is supplied to an extended device 53 as a control input CI. A system control part 75a of the device 53 compares the number 91 read out of the control information with the identification number received from an identifi cation number pointing part 85. In this case no coincidence is obtained between both numbers and therefore the part 75a sends all read control signals to the device 55 as the control output CO. A system control part 75b of the device 55 reads a disk number 93, an office number 95 and a performance mode 97 since the coincidence is obtained between the number 91 and the identification number of the device 55. Thus the devices 51, 53, 55 and 57 are connected in a loop form via two connection lines and therefore the overall constitution of an extending system is simplified.
