Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the maximum working capacity of a digital electronic circuit by deciding an optimum working frequency from the ambient temperature of said electronic circuit for production of a system clock. CONSTITUTION:The ambient temperature of a digital electronic circuit 1 is detected by a sensor 2 and this detecting result is converted into the digital signals by an A/D converter 3. Then these digital signals are supplied to a PROM 5 and the information on the optimum working frequency of the circuit 1 is sent to an oscillator OSC8 from the PROM 5 via a D/A converter 7. Thus a system clock is produced from the OSC8 in a frequency in response to the frequency information. This system clock is sent to the circuit 1 and the circuit 1 is actuated by the system clock. Thus the maximum working capacity is secured for a digital electronic circuit.
