Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a run state and control generation of 'blow holes' by integrally die-cast molding a stator core, permanent magnet pieces, and a metal tube by means of a molten metal poured from a gate arranged in the upper part of the joint of said permanent magnets. CONSTITUTION:When a molten metal is poured from a gate 19 after a rotor 7 has been put in a casting mold 11, said molten metal first passes through gaps 22 and notches 21, and flows to the opposite side of the rotor 7 while pressing permanent magnets 9 against a metal tube 10. When the molten metal spreads to some degree to raise its pressure, said metal then flows through longitudinal holes 20 in a rotor core 8 to form end rings 13, 14, and said gaps 22 between adjacent permanent magnet pieces 9 are filled with said molten metal in said notches 21 to form whirl-stop members for the permanent magnet pieces 9. Then, after it has solidified, the metal is taken out from the casting mold 11 and subjected to magnetization so that the rotor 7 is brought to completion.
