Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a stable discharge to be carried out constantly in a fixed direction by a substantially uniform liquid amount, by forming a deposited organic high-molecular film on an end face of a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a head without a deposited organic high-molecular film is formed. Next, an ultrasonic cleaning is conducted with an isopropyl alcohol and a DAI-Flon S3 liquid for 5min each so as to clean an end face of a discharge port. A natural wax which has been dissolved at a temperature of approximately 90 deg.C is loaded to the cleaned head in the discharge port, and the wave applied to the end face is wiped by a cotton swab impregnated with a xylene. According to a process for forming a deposited organic high- molecular film, the head with the discharge port filled with the wax is coated with a 1mum polyparaxylylene. This coated head is dipped in a xylene to dissolve the wax; in this manner, the head with the discharge port in which the deposited organic high-molecular film is not applied to the inner wall surface but only to the end face is obtained.
