Abstract

PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a transfer pad significantly and reduce printing cost by using the pivotal shaft of the pad as the central shaft of a practical rotational body and allowing the pivotal shaft to rotate at a fixed angle between printing processes. CONSTITUTION:Transfer printing ink 2 is filled in an intaglio plate 1 and then is leveled off by a squeegee 3 to remove a residue. Next, a transfer pad 6 with a rotational body of silicon rubber 4 which thickens in the center most significantly around the pivotal shaft 5 is elastically fitted to the intaglio plate 1.
