Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a stage and to stabilize quality by subjecting a pure Al coated steel sheet constituted of a nitrogen-added steel sheet or an aluminized steel sheet and Al sheet and Al bearing alloy sheet respectively to surface activation, then press welding and annealing the sheets. CONSTITUTION:After the pure Al coated steel sheet 3 is straightened flat, the pure Al surface is activated by a wire brush. One face of the Al bearing alloy sheet 1 is similarly activated by the wire brush. The activated surfaces are pressed and are press-welded by rolls to each other. The welded sheet is then subjected to diffusion annealing to form a joint layer 2. The working stage is simplified and the quality is improved by this method.
