Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of considerable increase of the capacity of a memory by providing a bus monitor device with a start setting part, an end setting part, a memory control part, a memory part, and a display part. CONSTITUTION:A start setting part 1 decodes data on a bus given through a data bus 11 and compares data on the bus with a trigger point set by a switch, and decoded data on the bus is given to a memory part 4 if they are equal to each other. An end setting part 2 decodes data on the bus given through the data bus 11 and compares this data with a stop point set by a switch, and the part 2 instructs the start setting part 1 to terminate sampling when they are equal to each other. When the quantity of data corresponding to the memory capacity is stored, a memory control part 3 gives a read signal to the memory part 4 for the purpose of displaying stored data. Data given through an output bus 13 is displayed on a display part 5.
