Abstract

PURPOSE:To speedily and easily execute the setting of a retrieving condition by fetching the new retrieving condition in a condition that picture information to correspond to the retrieving condition are displayed, displaying it together with the picture information, receiving a prescribed operating signal and reshuffling-displaying the picture information to correspond to the new retrieving condition. CONSTITUTION:According to the instruction of a retrieving condition input part 4, an instruction is sent through a retrieval control part 5 to a display control part 7 and the retrieving condition is displayed through a retrieving condition input screen display control means 72 to the retrieving condition input screen of a display part 6. Next, when the executing of a retrieval is instructed from the input part 4, based on the retrieving condition from a retrieving data accumulating part 3, the said picture is removed from a picture accumulating part 1 to a picture memory part 2. Next, an instruction is issued to a simultaneous display control means 72, a picture display control means 71 is used and the picture in the memory part 2 is displayed to the display part 6. While the picture displayed to the display part 6 is referred, an operator calculates the new retrieving condition and issues the instruction to the input part 4. Thus, the picture to correspond to the new retrieving condition is reshuffling-displayed and the setting of the retrieving condition can be executed speedily and easily.
