Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit a DSC signal to subordinate stations, by applying an analog signal taken out from a stand-by or current codec to a current or stand-by multiplexing means after converting it to a digital signal again at the time of a failure in detection of frame synchronizing bits of the DSC signal in a current or stand-by codec means. CONSTITUTION:An asynchronous signal sent from a current synchronous detecting circuit 43' by trouble of a current line or break of the DSC signal drives a current switch 31' through an OR gate 71'. Meanwhile, the digital signal inputted from a preceding station through a stand-by line is separated into a main signal and the DSC signal by a stand-by main signal/DSC signal branch part 11 and is separated into respective channels by a stand-by DSC signal branch circuit 41, and a part of this signal is multiplexed by a stand-by DSC signal multiplexing circuit 42 and is transmitted to the subordinate stations. Thus, the DSC signal can be transmitted to the subordinate stations through current and stand-by lines even if the current synchronous detecting circuit cannot detect frame synchronizing bits of the DSC signal.
