PURPOSE:To ensure the stability of a car body effectively steering a rear wheel by moving a link, connected to an input gear and an output gear, while tilting in a rotary direction of the input gear so as to steer the rear wheel. CONSTITUTION:A steering angle ratio control mechanism 12 has an input gear 34 driven by an input shaft 10 and a d riven gear 35 meshed with this input gear 34. A slider 32 is connected by a pin 31 to the peripheral edge part of the input gear 34. The driven gear 35 is supported to a fixed shaft 38 fixing its boss to a housing. An output gear 40 connects to its peripheral edge part the bottom end of a link 33 by a pin 43. An upper end side of the link 33 is slidably fitted to the slider 32. Fitting a slider 46 to an intermediate part of the link 33, a rod 47, connected to the slider 46, is connected to a piston 48, fitted to a cylinder serving as the slider, and a tie rod 23 is connected to the cylinder 45.
