Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact electrically-driven actuator by housing a motor and a motion conversion mechanism to the inside of a cylindrical output member. CONSTITUTION:An output cylinder 2 is placed in a cylindrical supporting cylinder 3 locked to a base 30, a barrel screw axis 1 is placed in the output cylinder 2, in which a motor 4 is placed. The motor 4 is held by a mounting base 40; a sun gear 41 is locked to an output axis, and an internal gear 43 to a holding base 45. The barrel screw 1 swivels with bearings 15 and 16, to which a carrier 44 supporting a plurality of planet gears 42 is locked. A feed nut body 20 having a female thread fitting into a male screw 10 is locked to the output cylinder 2, and a mounting member 21 of a sheet is placed on the top of the nut body 20. The supporting cylinder 3 is locked to the base 30, and a guide member 33 coming into contact with the peripheral surface of the output cylinder 2 is provided to the internal circumferential surface of the output cylinder 2. Thus, the motor 4 is placed at the inside of a cylindrical output member; therefore, as a whole, a compact constitution including the axial overall length can be obtained.
