Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the residual amount of fuel from being erroneously indicated by a method wherein an output value from a weight sensor is stored in response to the operation of a calibration switch and a residual amount signal is corrected from said value to indicate the residual amount in a liquid fuel combustion equipment having a cartridge type kerosene tank. CONSTITUTION:The title combustion equipment is provided with a weight sensor 4 for detecting the total weight of both the weight of kerosene and the weight of an airtight type tank, a signal processing means (circuit board) 25 which inputs a sensor signal released from the sensor 4 and outputs a residual amount signal corresponding to the residual amount of kerosene, and a calibration switch 40 for calibrating the signal released from the sensor 4. In response to the operation of the calibration switch 40, the output value from the weight sensor 4 is stored so that the residual amount signal is to be corrected from the value thus stored, by the signal processing means 25. Thereupon, an output signal A released from the circuit substrate 25 is calculated and corrected by a microcomputer board 30 to obtain the residual amount signal, thereby indicating the residual amount of fuel on an indicating meter 16 adapted as an displaying means.
