Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost for equipment maintenance by constituting a crucible and thermocouple protecting pipe by a pure Ni material and coating a ceramic paint on the part coming into contact with the vapor of a salt as well. CONSTITUTION:The crucible 4 inside an electric heating furnace 1 and a thermocouple protecting pipe 6 are formed by a pure Ni material and in order to protect from the vapor generated from a molten salt a ceramic paint 7 is coated on the surface of the vapor contact part of the crucible 4 and thermocouple protecting pipe 6. The salt 5 for Al brazing is charged into the crucible 4 and the salt 5 is melted by heating the whole crucible 4 body by a heater 3 inside the furnace. Since the actuation and stoppage of the heating can be done by one switch at the necessary time only with this heating the electric power cost is remarkably reduced. Due to the need for the heavy labor work of the cleaning, drying, etc., of the salt 5 being eliminated the maintenance cost of the whole furnace equipment 1 is reduced.
