Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the remaining of air in a flow control apparatus, by guiding a fluid such as a physiological saline solution to a bent or curved flow passage communicating with the flash passage demarcated between a flow rate limit member and an elastic tubular body by deforming the elastic tubular body. CONSTITUTION:The recessed parts 62a, 62b formed by partially cutting the upper part of an elastic tubular body 42 function as a flash passage when the elastic tubular body 42 is deformed and blocked in a usual state by the protruding part 64 of the elastic tubular body 42. A flow rate limit member 44 is inserted in the hole 60 of the elastic tubular body 42 and the protruding part 64 is brought into contact with the central region thereof. This flow rate limit member 44 has a through-hole 66 having a fine diameter. When the press parts 52a, 52b provided to the housing 40 of a flow control apparatus 18 are grasped by fingers to be pressed, the protruding part 64 is separated upwardly and, therefore, a gap is generated to allow the recessed parts 62a, 62b to communicate with each other and a flow passage is opened as the flash passage.
