Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of gravity and the generation of drift current caused by Coanda effect by a method wherein at the part of a tube inserted into a U-bent-shaped tube, small holes with a specific size are formed when one directional flow is changed into two directional flow. CONSTITUTION:A U-bent-shaped tube 11 for dividing flow into two directional flow is connected to the other tube 12 at its center of the bent part. The one tip part of the pipe 12 is inserted into the tube 11 and in order to interconnect to two directional flow a pair of small holes 15a, 15b with a size of 1/2 tube diameter or less are formed in its diameter direction. A refrigerant 13 flows into the pipe 12 in being separated into a vapor phase 13a and a liquid phase part 13b and is divided into the arrows 14a, 14b. The refrigerant 13 flows into the tube 12 in being separated into the vapor phase 13a and the liquid phase 13b and is divided by the tube 11 and owing to a pair of small holes 15a, 15b which are formed in the same direction as the bent direction of the tube 11 in the diameter direction of the tube 12, the vapor and liquid phases are ejected in atomized condition from the holes 5a, 5b because of rapid pressure loss. Thereby, the influence of gravity and drift current caused by Coanda effect can be removed and the flow can be uniformly distributed.
