Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform optimum heating corresponding to a menu and the quantity of rice to be cooked by providing an operating part for a rice stocker, weight sensor for a rice cooker, judging means for determining an energizing program from the quantity of rice inputted from the operating part and the output of the weight sensor, and energizing control means to be operated corresponding to the energizing program. CONSTITUTION: A judging means 8 is composed of a control board having a microcomputer, and a detection circuit 7-3 of a weight sensor 7 and the respective outputs of an operating part 3 are connected. The required quantity of rice is inputted from the operating part 3, a measuring part 2-2 measures the rice and the rice is discharged from a stock part 2-1 to a rice outlet 4. A user puts this rice into an inner pot 16 after washing and pours water to any engraved line. A rice cooker 11 storing the inner pot 16 is placed on a placing stand 5 and a rice cooking lever 15 is operated. The judging means 8 fetches the detected result of the weight sensor 7, judges the menu from the reset quantity of rice inputted from the operating part 3 and selects the suitable energizing program. Afterwards, the contact part of an energizing control means 9 is opened/closed according to the energizing program, and the heating of a rice cooking heater 14 is controlled.
