CONSTITUTION:A mandrel 24 made of a metal obtained by processing and forming a large number of cylindrical recessed parts 26 on the external circum ferential surface is prepared. Unvulcanized rubber is molded into a cylindrical form covering the mandrel 24 and at the same time a large number of protrusions 12 in a form corresponding to the recessed part 26 are molded on the inside. Then the molded body is made into a rubber pipe 22 provided with elastic capacity by vulcanizing the molded body under heating, continuously compressed air is led between the outside of the mandrel 24 and the inside of the rubber pipe 22 and the vulcanized rubber pipe 22 is expanded outward in a radial direction. With this construction, as the rubber pipe 22 is separate from the mandrel 24, the rubber pipe 22 is removed from the mandrel 24.
