Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a pipe with a receptacle having a diameter expanded part, by heat softening a predetermined part of a synthetic resin pipe and also expanding once a diameter of the pipe by a fluid pressure more than a predetermined shape, then setting a core at a predetermined position and contacting tightly the inner face of the pipe to the core by lowering the fluid pressure. CONSTITUTION:A core 4 is inserted in a beforehand heat softened pipe 10 and an outside mold 8 is set from its outside and tightened to the pipe 10 at the core side. Then, the diameter of the pipe 10 is expanded by sending compressed air and shaped somewhat larger than a finished expanded diameter. When the pressure of the core side to the pipe 10 is decreased, the diameter of the expanded part of the pipe 10 of which the diameter is expanded larger than a normal size is contracted tightly along an inner mold 7 and the pipe with a receptacle having a groove part of a predetermined expanded diameter is molded. In such a way the pipe with the receptacle having the complex diameter expanded groove of good accuracy of an inside diameter can be manufactured.
