Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate the voltage rising time by concurrently using a fuse belt and an ignition agent filled in a fire guide hole. CONSTITUTION:An ignition agent 4 is filled in a fire guide hole 3 formed by the opening section of a stack laminated with multiple element batteries 1 and heating agent pellets 2 in turn, and a fuse belt 6 is provided in close contact with the outside face of the stack. A heat pad 5 and the ignition agent 4 are first ignited concurrently at the ignition point of an igniter 7, and the heating agent pellets 2 are ignited from the inside and the outside while the combustion is propagated respectively. In this case, the ignition time through the fire guide hole 3 is earlier than the ignition time through the fuse belt 6 outside by the combustion time of the heat pad 5, thus the combustion of the heating agent pellets 2 is completed from the inside and the outside in a short time. The rising time of the battery voltage can be thereby accelerated.
