A freely detachable windup shaft 33 mounted on a rotary shaft 31 attached to a machine frame 19 is driven with a motor 39. Arranging a vertically movable sub-roller 43 above the windup shaft 33, a liquid such as water, alcohol, etc. is supplied by bringing the sub-roller into contact with the windup shaft 33. An arm 57 of a protective paper sheet transfer device 55 sucks a protective paper sheet 17 with a sucker 59 at the tip of the arm 57, swings the sheet, makes the front end of the sheet adhere to the windup shaft 33, and winds up the sheet 17 by rotating the windup shaft 33.
