The means 2 which varies reference voltage or input voltage improves the resolution of the reference voltage effectively and the digital adding circuit 3 averages the digital value corresponding to the reference voltage or input voltage for a constant time to improve the number of effective bits. Thus, the simple circuits are only added to reduce the circuit scale of the ADC greatly and performance improvement such as economical effect and low power consumption accompanied by IC yield improvement are improved.
