Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive resin composition for use in the screen printing superior in printability, water resistance, and storage stability by using an aqueous dispersion of a resin mixture of specified organopolysiloxane and a specified resin, a photocross-linking agent, a photosensitizer, and water, each in specified in proportion. CONSTITUTION:The aqueous dispersion comprises 100pts.wt. of the resin mixture composed of the 0.1-50wt.% organopolysiloxane having in one molecule at least one siloxane units represented by formula I and II and a polyvinyl acetate emulsion containing a 99.9-50wt.% resin component, 0.01-10pts.wt. of the photocrosslinking agent, 0-10pts.wt. of the photosensitizer, and water, and the total resin content is 10-70wt.% of the dispersion. In these formulas, R<1> is alkylene; each of R<2> and R<3> is an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; each of a and b is 0, 1, or 2; and c is 1, 2, or 3, thus permitting the obtained aqueous dispersion of the photosensitive resin for forming the printing plate in the screen printing to form the printing plate good in humidity and water resistances, surface smoothness, and ink permeability.
