Abstract
PURPOSE:To make engine operation smooth and raise up its reliability by providing a pair of rotors rotating in respective operation chambers and a pair of separators dividing the space between the inner circumference of a pair of operation chambers and this rotor in two parts. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary piston engine 10, a pair of operation chambers 11, 12 whose inner parts are formed in cylindrical shapes are provided, holding an axle line 13 in common and adjoining each other. In a communication hole 20, a switching valve 26 which can open and close synchronizing with the rotation of a rotor shaft 14 is provided. The heads of rods (separators) 35, 36 and the outer circumferences of the rotors 15, 16 stick together and come in contact with each other maintaining an air tight status between them and divide the space between both operation chambers 11, 12 in two parts. Thus, the smooth operation of the engine can be obtained and its reliability can be raised up with less trouble.
