Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of waterdrops spouting from the trailing edge end by providing a slit-shaped intake opening in the wall of a hollow stationary blade, and forming a blade profile above the intake opening so that it deflects to enlarge a passage between the blades. CONSTITUTION:A slit-shaped intake opening 8 is provided in the wall of a hollow stationary blade 1 so that it extends lengthwise along the stationary blade 1. A blade profile 13 above the intake opening 8 is formed so that a passage between the blades is enlarged, that is, a tangent of the surface of the blade profile 13 deflects in sequence to extend into the hollow. The waterdrops attached to the blade surface are thus efficiently removed from the system, and the amount of waterdrops spouting from the trailing edge end can be reduced.
