Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a flexible metal foil laminated sheet of superior folding endurance without using a bonding agent by making the folding endurance of a laminated sheet constituted of film layers of metal foil and an organic polymer more than 200 times when measured by a MIT tester under the condition of 500gr of tension to a test piece and 0.8mm of curvature radius of a folded surface. CONSTITUTION:A film layer constituted of an organic polymer is formed directly on a metal foil to manufacture a flexible metal foil laminated sheet. At that time, the organic polymer should have 25000 times or more of flexing resistance, 400kg/mm<2> or less of tensional modulus and 0.4kg/cm or more of 90 deg.C peeling strength with the metal foil. Also, the metal foil should have 4500kg/mm<2> of tensional modulus when the deformation volume is 1% or less. Its folding endurance should be 200 times or more measured by a MIT tester under the condition of 500gr of tension to a test piece and 0.8mm of curvature radius of folded surface. A flexible metal foil laminated sheet without using a bonding agent can be manufactured by this process.
